Loong Loong Seafood in Kuching has always been one of my go-to spots when I want a seafood dinner that doesn’t break the bank. Tucked away, it’s simple, bustling, and no-frills — but that’s exactly the charm. A good spread of seafood and vegetables can come in surprisingly affordable, making it one of the few places where I actually feel like I get real value for money when eating out.

What really sets Loong Loong apart for me, though, is the consistency of their vegetables. Whether it’s midin, kangkung, or just a straightforward stir-fry, they always get it right — fresh, crisp, and cooked just enough to bring out the flavour without drowning it in sauce. I’ve had seafood dishes there that were a bit hit or miss, but the vegetables have never disappointed, and that’s rare enough in itself to keep me loyal.

Overall, I think of Loong Loong as one of those reliable Kuching staples. It’s noisy, sometimes crowded, and not every dish will blow you away, but for the price and the guarantee of well-cooked greens, it’s hard to beat. It’s the kind of place I know I’ll keep going back to whenever...

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We ordered small portion and double check with the lady who took our order several time to make sure it’s a small portion, bcuz the food served was quite a big portion. She said it is the small portion. Ended up they charged us the big portion price(AND EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE LARGE PORTION) refer to the pumpkin...

this is one of the best seafood restaurants in kuching that never disappoints me. The portions are big and really worth it, i would recommend eating Nestum Prawn, Sea Cucumber Soup & 3 Layer Pork. But there's one problem i have, is the toilet is quite smelly. I hope they improve the cleanliness of the toilet. Otherwise, still my fav place...
