Rainforest Garden Cafe — Restaurant in Sarawak

this was our first stop when we landed at KIA. we were sceptical at first since the cafe is located inside a nursery and there are a few stalls selling local food. we ordered laksa sarawak and white lady. we were very surprised with the taste. white lady was filled with tasty jellies, nata, not too sweet and comes in a nice big bowl. laksa Sarawak tastes authentic. one of the best ones i had. we saw locale having breakfast there too. so this place is legit guys....

I tried the fried kuey teow here and it wasn’t really for me, a bit too greasy for my taste. That said, the service was great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed their coffee and the mango smoothie, both were delicious and refreshing. The restaurant itself is lovely, set in a peaceful garden setting that makes for a relaxing dining experience. Overall a nice spot to chill, even if the kuey teow wasn’t...

I visited the nursery just for a look-see. Ended up replenishing my stock of pots (of various sizes and shapes) and general gardening supplies. Even tempted by a potted lavender plant which looked exceptionally healthy and thriving. I was tended to by staff who were knowledge and super helpful. Five stars for the layout of the nursery, the quality and range of stocked items, and operational efficiency. I will be back...
