Upon my arrival at Sharing Planet for dinner, I was struck by the sight of numerous empty tables, setting the stage for what I had hoped would be a pleasant dining experience. However, my optimism quickly waned as I found myself confronted with an unexpected and prolonged wait for service.

Despite the apparent vacancy of the restaurant, I received no forewarning regarding the unusually long wait times. Eager to satisfy my hunger, I proceeded to place my order, only to find myself tethered to my seat for an agonizing hour before any semblance of sustenance made its way to my table.

Growing increasingly frustrated by the delay, I sought clarification from the waiter, hoping to shed light on the reason behind the interminable wait. Much to my dismay, the explanation offered only served to compound my exasperation.

According to the waiter, priority was being given to patrons who preparing to break-fast and those with prior reservations. This revelation left me feeling marginalized and disheartened, as I watched several tables vacated by patrons who, like myself, had grown weary of the protracted wait.

As the hour dragged on, the once-promising atmosphere of camaraderie and shared dining experiences gave way to a sense of disillusionment and disappointment. Regrettably, my evening at Sharing Planet devolved into a tedious exercise in patience, culminating in an hour of my life spent in...

Delicious, Nice staff, clean place, quiet and relaxing, So many food and drink, More paking lot, Best western food in kuching, Hard to see the restaurant if you the first time, Came to this restaurant just to have the lamb chop and we were not disappointed. Service was good, food was great and most staff we engaged with had good enough English.one of the famous western restaurant in Kuching, Sharing Planet. at this moment, there are 4 of Sharing's restaurant available around Kuching which are Sharing Planet (original sharing), Sharing Downtown, Sharing Too and the latest edition is Sharing Tree. I always prefer to dine here. It's a perfect place for family, couple or colleagues to eat. The food was so affordable, the TASTE? don't ask IT'S FREAKING good ,all this Sharing served western foods and all of them is delicious. suitable with the name of "Sharing", the portion of each meals is big and u can share ur foods with each other. if ur stomach is not as big as mine, one meals can be share with ur friends or partner. I would love to give a higher rating but I just cant. Reason being, I tried to book a place but was told to just walk in. When I came there was ni place and we were forced to wait. And someone who happens to have someone block a table just came in and sit at the table vlock by either a friend or family member. I mena how is that fair. I might as well ask someone to sit at the table while waiting before he returns to his table. Luckily the staff were friendly but apart from that, sorry.. I can't give you a good rating. If you know that your place will be heavily used during festive season use the booking system so that everyone has a fair chance of dining there. You imagine a famiky came in a grouo of 7 and later another family of 4 came in late but one of the family members who came im earlier has already sat at one of the empty table as a way of booking their seats and you as another customer just look while you wait for half an hour.. I seldom complaint about service but this is the type of things...

We booked the igloo for my mother’s birthday and even called a day in advance to confirm the reservation. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the igloo had been given to someone else. While disappointing, we understood the situation and accepted the alternative seating in an air-conditioned room. As for the food, I was also somewhat let down. I ordered the Maryland chicken chop, but the portion did not match the menu’s presentation. The mashed potatoes were nearly nonexistent, and for a dish priced at over RM20, I expected a more generous serving. The chicken itself was a thinly sliced, breaded cutlet, which was not what I had anticipated. Overall, my experience with both the service and the food was disappointing. I hope the establishment takes this feedback into consideration and makes improvements. Of course, this is based on my personal experience, and others may have different perspectives. I have attached photos of the meal for reference.
