Googled on the map after a late night shoot at Rawang for dinner, and it took me here which was Bukit Beruntung, 20 min drive from Anggun City, Rawang with 2 tolls in and out since I was looking for a real Chinese coffeeshop restaurant instead of All the modern cafes!! 🤢
The area was quite dark but at that hour 9pm, traffic was still heavy and the Chinese resto was almost full! My orders was taken by a very young teenager clad in cropped t-shirt n tattered torn short jeans! Woww!😅 I asked for suggestions and she quickly ran through the menu with me for 1 pax which was pretty interesting and Affordable!
Within 10 mins or less, my bitter gourd tauhu soup, RM 10, was served together with my Mixed vegetables rice + chicken slice, RM 9. Surprisingly the portion control was Huge and Tasty! I asked for extra garlic and a Huge tupperware was handed to me instantly! 🤗
Even the cashier (Mother incharge) was friendly too. I could understand that this resto is a family business and the Owner looks pretty authoritative. Can't blame him coz 3/4 of their customers were Indians with family and a group of Chinese lorry drivers drinking heavily! Looks rough but well managed! Even the cleanliness was surprisingly good especially when the young order taker brought a small tub of hot water soaked with cutleries to my table!
Go check it out IF you're in the vicinity! The pricing of their food was slightly cheaper than in KL and the Chef did make my stomach happy!!...

Reasonably priced restaurant. Serves big portions of food. Especially like the "mui choy kow yok" & their steamed herbal kampong chicken. So also is their seafood salted egg tofu. No complaints on their food that we ate today. Not crowded now due to Covid19 CMCO. If you are in Bukit Beruntung/Rawang area, do head over here for good and reasonably priced Chinese food in comfortable restaurant. Dish portions are big but the rice is tiny 🤣probably they do not want customers to waste rice. The roasted pork knuckles is great - crispy, flavourful. The salted egg tofu is must too!
