Red Spice (Quayside Mall) — Restaurant in Selangor

Came here for the first time with a friend as the food looks good.

I ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce and i was so disappointed when it came as you can see in the photo its so small the piece of chicken and one sad cherry tomato cut into half and one salad leaf.

For the price that i am paying definitely can improve so much more and there are better portions out there in other restaurants for that price.

And if the portions are going to be so small, atleast to plate it in a smaller plate as you can see from the picture the mushroom sauce is already soaking the fries.

Taste wise, nothing to shout about.

Ambience wise we sat outside and it was a nice and not too much noise perhaps only from the passerby’s cycling and kids etc.

Service wasn’t the best as i kept raising my hand up to the waiter behind the counter and one malay girl behind the counter just looked at me and looked away and continued talking to the other staff. I had to get up, go in and walk to the counter to ask for some ketchup and then only it was given.

Sudden decision to celebrate my mom's birthday in red spice in quayside mall . So we bought cake earlier in diff bakery and without making reservation, me and fly went to this restaurant . Such a calm and comfortable place , loved the ambience . We gv the cake to the waiters to keep it cool and they helped us . Very thankful for that . The foods arrived to our table in standard waiting time , less than 30 mins . Foods was good , spagetti carbonara was the ultimate i felt personally . Waitresses helped us to clean our table after finishing our meal and brought us the cake . Actually my mom felt abit off because it was awkward to cut it there . People were looking and we couldnt even sing the happy birthday song to her . By the Right time , without requesting the lovely staff members played birthday song in speaker . My mom got so happy and we all too . Thank you so much for making it happier . We did share the cake to them aswell . Service was so good .
