The Danau Cafe — Restaurant in Selangor

Went here for Ramadhan iftar on 23/3/2025 and had a terrible experience! Our food only CAME OUT 30 MINUTES after adzan (7:28 PM buka puasa, 8:00 PM baru dapat food! 😤) and when I complained to the cashier during payment, one particular girl in a brown hijab chose to make a bitchy face instead of apologizing for the inconvenience.

The thing is, you guys take a 50% deposit during reservation along with the menu. So what’s stopping you from reviewing the orders and preparing everything in advance? All tables were fully booked, meaning everyone had already paid the deposit and submitted their menu choices. Why did you still fail to prepare the food on time before adzan? People came for IFTAR NOT MOREH 😡 Never coming back to this cafe again. Very unprofessional, and the cafe’s time management...

It is located in Danua Perintis Apartment. Visitors have to register and show driving license for their record.

The cafe is nearby the swimming pool.

Staff are friendly and food taste good. The portion is considered big and prices are reasonable. Cutlery, serviette, 🌶 n 🍅 sauces are all self-service.

Highly recommend their lamb grill (Kambing Bek Bek Bakaq) 👍👍👍😋😋😋. Very delicious and was nicely marinated, taste great even if you don't eat it with the sauce.

Very good food, friendly service. It's located at the base of an apartment complex, so you have to go through a guard. Not much of a hassle though as the guard is well informed, and the parking for visitors is right in front of the building. Worth it to have their delicious food. My personal favourite are the pasta dishes and lamb chop. Not much for drinks as you only have the usual cordial and iced coffee and tea, but the food will make up for it....
