...scrumptious!...'bout couple of month ago(maybe 4-5 months ago) when our tee off started after friday prayer at tropicana golf club...so me and the mates stopped at masjid bandar utama before noon(1210 p.m) to wait for friday sermon started (and i'd like to be early to the mosque's)...usually nowdays most of mosque's or friday prayer halls(surau)...the mosque's management or friday prayer hall(surau) allowed food operators to open a mobile stalls for the friday conggerations to come and had their lunch before performed friday prayer as in congregate...and one's of the stall that was there at bandar utama mosque was a couple(husband&wife) sellin' this briyani.gam johore...we'd had a chats and the husband that their actually has a briyani restaurant located beside kajang highway(which's before this the restaurant use to.located on top small hill but had to be demolished since the owner of the land wanted it back...and they moved just a bit back from original location)...and today we do has a tee off 'round 1400 at bukit ulung golf club...since its on the way so we made a stop at the place to have...

Dining area is open space with a lot of fans, floors and tables are clean, however the roadside makes the air a little dusty and dangerous for childrens to be left running around. Food selection is basically just the beriyani with selection of your prefered meat. I took Nasi Beriyani Gam Ayam, the beriyani taste is quite normal, the chicken is Ayam Kampung, so the meat is a little tough but the long process of cooking makes it crumble on bite, however the tough texture is still there on each bite. Just felt like the price is a little premium for it. Teh o' ais is just as normal as what you can get on a normal...

Location is still the same. Nearby the vehicle workshop with some abandoned and dilapidated cars parked on the roadside.
The restaurant is still the same, but I think the servers and workers have changed. Seating arrangement is systematic, plenty and friendly, and restaurant personnel are pleasant to deal with.
I came here for 5 person lunch and the portion of rice, lamb and beef were generous. Although not as āoriginalā as the real Batu Pahat beriyani, the taste is good and we enjoyed it. Price wise is logical and affordable. Would return...
