Pork intestine noodles. Their dry noodle ( shown in pictures ) is among the best I had recently . The yellow noodle ( gan shui noodle) doesn't have the usual gan shui flavour. The seasoning, texture and flavour is very balance and nice.curry noodle is okay, passable ( there are plenty of better option around seri kembangan. Fry wanton is below average due to lack of filling however understandabke for their price. Would suggest the owner to reduce the number of wanton but increease the filling to make it better.
Pork intestine is clean and very tender. This is an important factors as what stop me to order intestine are usually very rubbery and theor smell when it not clean thoroughly. From this perspective , 5 ⭐. This is also their signature dish so they live up to the expectation.
Their newly introduced crossaint with butter and kaya is great. If you are those like the typical coffee + kaya toast it is a must try. Coffee is also very good. Very delighted
Portion is good and affordable. Another shop that I would visit regularly.
Must try here: their signature pork intestine noodle ( dry & soup), crossaint toast, ice coffee. 4 stars + 1 stars for it's...
Read moreA very interesting find, they specialized in Pork Noodles. They offer a variety of Pork (kidney, liver, pork, intestine, meat balls, tendon, etc) to go with your noodle. The Pork soup is tasty, they also offer rice wine with it which some may not like when they are not aware of the taste so they did a brilliant job by giving you separately so you can mix in your spoon or a separate bowl first to see if you like, if not just go with the original soup which is tasty. They provide 2 chilli sauce; darker chilli goes well with intestine, liver, etc. and light chilli goes well with pork slices & meatballs. The braised pork rice lack taste in the sauce so you need to be skillfull to eat with the super tasty beans to boost the taste beyond normal Taiwan braised pork rice but is better if their sauce can rival that and the bean flavour...
Read moreGenerally good food, I had the pork noodle Sang yuk Mien. It is considered in between average and good, it certainly not going to stop your cravings on Sabah Sang Yuk Mien, as I personally think the taste is already being fusioned into KL style. First glance of the dry noodle looks like Tawau style with minced meat, but the dry noodle sauce is not thick and definitely KL style. As for the soup, it is a relatively clear soup with the typical Sang Yuk Mien type of thin sliced meat. The meat flavour of the soup is relatively light, and sadly, the wrong type of vegetable (lettuce) has been included into the soup hence destroyed the overall authentic meat soup taste.
Good environment and staff, good for local folks to have their meals here, but please not to consider you tried the real Sang...
