Today (24/02/2035) I came as a group of 8 and collectively ordered 8 (4 sets) half boiled eggs. As we cracked each egg open, every single egg was outright raw. Every. Single. Egg. There didn't seem to be even a semblance of cooking that had been done to the eggs, not an ounce of opaqueness to be found in the whites, as the eggs were entirely transparent. Even the waiters who saw them couldn't say anything and had to take them all back. They re-served everything, eggs pre-cracked, to make sure it was cooked through properly the final time.
Some food had redeeming qualities, such as the roti and the fried chicken which were not bad, but otherwise the raw eggs were egregious and not something we could look past. Some from the group also reported having stomach complaints after eating here.
Service could also be improved. We had to ask for cutlery 3 times, each time with the waiters only bringing one set of cutlery per person. You can imagine our confusion as to why they wouldn't just give us a bucket of cutlery after seeing that we're a group of 8. Only after the 4th ask did it click, and they finally served sufficient cutlery.
Final words: drive a little further and go to Anwar Maju in Sunway. It has much better...
Read moreVisited today morning for breakfast. We ordered 1 × roti sardin & 2 × roti telur. I believe the kitchen staff who is assigned to prepare our orders has mixed up or wrongly read the order chit. Instead of preparing 1 × roti sardin he wrongly prepared 2 × roti sardin and he asked one of the waiter to approach and persuade us to eat 2 × roti sardin. We refused and he still pestering us to eat 2 pieces of roti sardin.
I stand up and threaten to cancel all the orders and want to leave the restaurant then only he backed off and agree to serve the original order.
My question is : did the restaurant owner punishing the restaurant crews by forcing them to pay for the wrong orders? The way he forcing us to accept the wrongly quantity food prepared is like a credit card sales people at the shopping mall.
I don't know whether we should patronize this restaurant again in the...
Read moreLets talk food: below average. Is my 2nd time here is not that satisfying. The normal nasi goreng is not tasty (i have to spam ketchup). I had Nasi goreng tomyam this time and is better than my last meal here but is not that good as well. I think what the chef can do is reevaluate their food cuz the fry rice is has the “wok” not wash properly taste and somehow is sweet (?) oh, the nasi khandar section was very unappealing so i did not even think about trying it out.
Service: plenty of waiter here, just average, feels like every waiter is just minding their own business here.
Atmosphere: the only reason i dine here was the location i guess. It looks clean and windy here.
Overall, this restaurant is a nice strategic place to chill, if they could improve on their food i will come back again. Probably gonna come back in another 1-2 months to check again. No...
