My friend recommended and brought me here to eat the nasi kukus ayam goreng. Wow there were so many people when we arrived. Quite a full house but luckily we found a table to dine in. My friend explained that we just queue and the staff will pack up the rice with the chicken with the curry gravy and sambal and pack it up, no need to tell them what you want as the menu is totally nasi kukus ayam goreng only. When they pack it up, it's up to you to eat it there if you found a table or if it's too crowded, just bring it back home and eat. If you find a table, hooray! Just sit and enjoy your lunch 👍 you can pay after finishing everything haha Overall, it's a nice place with good butt straight forward.

It’s not a pretty looking food per se but who cares when it’s so delicious. Warung Cikgu’s nasi kukus is light and fluffy by itself and the amount of curry gravy the pour into every packet is just nice to coat the grains evenly. As for the fried chicken, it’s ‘ayam cincang berempah’ and you can see they have been chopped up into smaller pieces. This allows the spices to penetrate the chicken and the skin is no doubt the best part. The sambal, which I think is the most essential component is punishingly spicy here and I enjoyed it thoroughly. If you have a low heat tolerance just ask for less, but don’t omit it completely because you will be missing the yum factor.

You know it's gonna be good when you see a long queue and a packed restaurant. Fortunately for me the queue moved fast and many customers were done eating so I managed to find a seat. The signature dish here is called Nasi Mmanggey (or Manggey). The rice mixed with their special gravy & spicy sambal resulted in an explosive taste in your mouth (similar feeling to Nasi Kak Wok JJ in Shah Alam). Make sure you also order their Coconut Shake as you will need it halfway thru your meal (grab some tissues as well). I noticed after eating you are supposed to dispose the wrapper into the thrash bin yourself.

😠😡🤬May 2023 I've got 5 pcs chopped fried chicken in all and out of 3 pcs are nearly meatless of the nasi Manggey. Yet the kakak before me the guy scooped full of fried chicken and can be seen the f. chicken popped out from the wax paper. The guy who scooped ayam cincang was DOUBLE STANDARD. Please do not 🚫 treated this to customer regardless who they're. As we pay the standard price yet been treated unfair and partially. Management:📢 your business is open for everyone, please do coach and train your staff. What an unpleasant patronized !!!😠😡🤬

August 2022🌟🌟🌟🌟 Miss their nasi kukus after 3 years, and they are generous of scooped the fried chicken for patrons. The taste of chopped fried chicken, thick gravy still savoury like before, and I fond of the spicyness of sambal...
