The daging bakar was flavorful with rich, tasty seasoning, though I have to say it was a bit too tough and not as chewy as I hoped, which is why I’m giving 4.4 stars instead of a full 5. What I absolutely love is the ambience — the stall’s wooden plank design (papan kayu) brought me right back to my childhood memories in Kampung Laut. Nostalgic, cozy, and very much like eating in a kampung kitchen. A beautiful blend of taste and tradition. Jujur nak cakap, makanan kat sini biasa-biasa je. Tapi bukan tu yang saya nak tekankan, yang paling spoil sekali pengalaman makan kat sini adalah kebersihan. Masa kami datang makan, lalat banyak gila. Tak tipu, memang nonstop lalat berlegar-legar atas meja. Besar-besar pulak tu, sampai kami dah hilang selera nak makan. Lalat ni bukan main-main tau dorang ni datang dari tempat kotor, bangkai, taik dan entah apa lagi. Bila hinggap kat makanan, memang terus rasa nak muntah. Paling teruk, kami ada order ayam goreng kunyit, tengah makan terjumpa sekor lalat goreng sekali dalam lauk tu. Kami terus panggil staff, bagi balik lauk tu dan minta yang baru. Tapi wallahualam la dorang tukar betul-betul ke tak. Apa-apa pun, saya dah memang trauma. Kalau betul dorang tak tukar, saya takkan maafkan kedai ni dunia akhirat. Kalau owner tak percaya boleh contact saya. Cuma satu je saya boleh puji, tandas baru kat belakang memang bersih gila. Mungkin baru siap sebab bau simen pun masih kuat. Tapi tu je la yang okay pun. Harap pihak kedai ambik serius isu kebersihan ni. Makanan boleh improve, tapi kalau tempat kotor, orang memang takkan datang lagi.

Kami sangat2 berpuas hati. Makanan yang sedap, ikan 3 rasa crispy n kuah padu, sambal perapan ikan bakar memang special pedas2 manis. Nak lagi sedap order la telur dadar kasi penaik selera haha. Air kami tak try yang special2 so no comment. Servis pun bagus, layan order dan soalan2 kami dengan baik. Harga yang sangat berpatutan. Tempat parking banyak. Jemput la datang ke kedai ni ya. (Cuma kalau datang malam dan anda jenis manusia yang selalu kena gigit nyamuk, pakai la insect repellant siap2 ya haha). Kena cerita sikit kelemahan sebab tiada yang sempurna di dunia tipu2 ni. Tapi sebagai makluman kami datang semasa hari minggu dan bukan cuti sekolah. Kami transit di besut sebelum ke perhentian, dan jumpa di tiktok. Kami bukan sedara mara tauke restoran ya disclaimer siap2 haha. Selamat mencuba guys!

The food was ok. But it is on the expensive side. The service is soooooo slooooowwwwww. Even my grandmother run faster. My rice and drink were serve but not my side dish. I am too hungry and cannot wait anymore so i ate the plain rice and finish my drinks. My friends already finished their foods but mine still not arrived yet. The staff seems to be distracted with something and i don't understand what happened in the kitchen. The only thing they gave me is 'I'm sorry'. Not even offer a compensation. I wish i can waste people time and just said I'm sorry. Next is when trying to pay for the food, the order were switched with someone else and i had to pay for the wrong stuffs. Its like they don't keep any order records. I'm so frustrated with this restaurant. Maybe they think this is not a serious matter. I can even expect what they will reply in the comments of this review. I don't recommend for people to eat here if they value time. If you have a lot of time in the world you can go here.
