B Beteng riverside cafe is fantastic. It is located in the Taman tamadun islam park Kuala terengganu. Situated by the beautiful serene Terengganu river. Its an outdoor cafe. The food was tasty. The service was good. The waiter was smilling all the way. I ordered mee tom yum. Oh my god...it was super delicious. I guess mee tom yum always tasted better in the east coast state esp kota bharu and kuala terengganu. So it is a MUST try. While my wife ordered nasi goreng seafood. It was delicious as well. The delicious food, the amazinh view and the soft river breeze just add so much to the already fantastic value for our memorable lunch here. The place was quiet at that time so we had all of the best element just to ourselves. You have to order your meal at the cashier counter n then pick ur drinks. And then they will deliver ur food. Went to this place as it was suggested by a friend. Yes, the scenery is pleasing but the food is... Ordered two fish grilled with spices, seafood tomyum, tumeric marinated chicken, kerabu mangga (mango salad), fried kailan with salted fish. The grilled fish is tender and the fish is fresh, but the spice it need a bit more spice to gave it more uuuumph, tomyum is meeeeh, chicken is a bit salty to my liking, kerabu manga is too dry and the kailan we felt cheated. About 2 or 3 kailan leafs and a lot of onions with no hints of any salted fish....

Had their udang celup tepung (prawn fritters) udang celup tepung (calamari / squid fritters). The batter was very good, close to tempura quality. Surprisingly the price was cheap. For RM10 per plate for the prawns, you get about 14 pieces of prawns which is of a decent size. A plate will make you feel full. Would also recommend the keropok lekor. The ambient was superb since the place was by the river - one of the best place to dine in...
