Very friendly service at Warung Aziz Satar—especially the lady boss, who was genuinely warm and took the time to introduce all the different fish-based dishes they offer. It was my first time trying the East Coast-style otak-otak and satar, and the experience was definitely something new for me.

The satar is sold at RM1 per piece, which can feel a bit pricey unless you’re buying in bulk. Still, it’s a unique taste worth trying at least once, especially if you’re not familiar with this regional style.

We also tried the Terengganu lontong, which was another first. The broth didn’t have an overpowering fishy smell (which I appreciated), but the overall dish felt a bit bland to me. It came with some raw cabbage and sambal, but lacked the depth or variety of condiments I’m used to. That said, it’s clearly a local favourite, so while it didn’t quite hit the mark for me, I can see why others...

Review Jujur saya. 13 Oktober 2024.

Kami mengambil Menu celup tepung, harga adalah seperti berikut Sotong RM7 per 100 gram, ambil 200gram, Telur Sotong RM7 per 100 gram, amik 100 gram, Ikan Kembong RM7 seekor, ambil 2 ekor, Otak2 10pcs RM8. Harga Udang celup tepung 3 ekor rm10, tak ambil sebab saiz udang tak sepadan harga.

Came early around 11am, no other customers. So not sure about peak time. Satar was good. Moist, not dry from over cooking. Keropok lekor, both thin and thick versions was average. Nothing to shout for. Otak-otak was ok, slightly sweet for me. This is east coast style of otak-otak, different from typical Johor style. Refer image shared. The fried stuffs, (celup tepung), was ok. Shop condition is the typical setting as it was from years ago. I feel that it could have been better, or maybe some improvement after all these years..

How could you not like aziz sata I could safely say that their sata is among the best that sata i have ever tasted, and I was born in Trengganu. I would not miss this place if i am in the vicinity to tapau their sata back to kl. The taste is very rich with all the ingreedient on point, no short cut. Please don't even try to compare sata here to those sold in kl pasar malam, it is not in the same level at all, no compettiin hands down. Do stop by and judge for yourself 👍 Keep up the good work boss
