If you're looking for the best shisha experience on the island, a decent food selection, and one of the most unique atmospheres in Fuvahmulah, this is the place to be. The natural beauty surrounding the café adds to its charm, making it a great spot to relax.
However, the service left much to be desired. The waiters seemed disengaged, unfocused, and often responded with sarcasm. One frustrating experience was when I ordered food for delivery. I appreciated that they informed me upfront that it would take an hour, but when I called after an hour, they told me the food had already left. Twenty minutes later, I called again, and they repeated the same response—which was clearly dishonest. What made it worse was that the delivery rider was already near my house, parked on the roadside, on a call when I was first told the food had been dispatched.
Another disappointing incident happened when I visited with a group of eight for tea. We ordered short eats, but they only brought enough for four people. When we asked about the rest, they casually mentioned that they had run out. Had they informed us at the time of ordering, we could have chosen something else or even gone elsewhere. Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. This business is a textbook example of how not to run a company. Instead of addressing customer concerns professionally, the owner chooses to reply to negative reviews with cocky, defensive, and downright rude comments. It’s clear they care more about being "right" than actually improving their service. The lack of professionalism starts at the top and trickles down to the staff, who are just as disrespectful and unhelpful. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience rather than a customer. The attitude, the lack of basic courtesy, and the complete disregard for customer experience is unbelievable. Save yourself the frustration, there are plenty of other places that actually value their customers and know how to conduct themselves professionally. This place...
Read moreWe wanted something different to try for dinner on our 2nd night in Fuvamulah other than the buffet at the guest house we were staying at. We had the fish and chips which was rather disappointing as it’s not the usual white fish. The beef steak is quite good. I liked that the mashed potato was not finely mashed. The grilled wahoo steak was tasty and flavorful paired with garlic rice. The seafood platter was also good with the spicy sauce. The place is by the lake, great ambiance though a little more light might help. I personally find it too dark. Be ready with your insect repellant too as there are mosquitoes. Servers are attentive and friendly, always smiling and pleasant. Will definitely go...
