La Cucina — Restaurant in Hithadhoo

I have to share an extremely disappointing experience my family and I had at this establishment "La Cucina" in Addu City, Hithadhoo.

Today, while enjoying a snack, a Nepalese waitress approached my children, aged 10 years, and asked for their orders while their mother was momentarily away. Despite my children informing the waitress that she should ask their parents first, she went ahead and prepared ice shakes for them without parental consent. When we inquired about this, both the waitress and the local person in charge ignored our concerns and charged us MVR 111 for the shakes.

This incident felt deliberate and highly inappropriate. It raises significant concerns about the conduct and ethics of your staff. Consequently, I am considering reporting this matter to the police as well, as this behavior is not only unprofessional but potentially dangerous. It is unacceptable to run a business in such a manner that resembles an underground, illegal operation.

I will not recommend this place to anyone and sincerely hope you return the money...

I’m really disappointed with the food I had today—it was honestly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. It did not meet my expectations in terms of taste, quality, or presentation.
