Sand Grill — Restaurant in Malé Atoll

Spectacular setting for a seafood restaurant - located in the heart of Velasarru Maldives resort.

We made the booking through the reception; and was given one of the tables right on the sea - all we good hear is the waves crashing down whilst indulging on our food.

Ordered the scallops and oysters at half a dozen. Fresh as you can get.

Recommend the full lobster option and rib eye steak if you are feeling extra hungry.

Service levels are impeccable - with our waiter Shakoor serving us almost to perfection with his timing.

Fantastic romantic setting; perfect to end...

Restaurant is stunning, has views overlooking the water. We were fortunate enough to get a table on our own so it was very private and romantic. Food was amazing, came out quick and very filling. Great value and lots of choices on the menu. Definitely my favourite restaurant for dinner that we experienced on the island (the only one I didn’t get to try was Teppanyaki, it was always fully booked!)...

This was another perfect location for dinner. Beside the ocean and feet sunk deep into the sand. We also had the romantic beach dinner which was very private and intimate. The staff have been just amazing and food was again, on point. I would love to go back soon! Always left...
