Cafe' Palato — Restaurant in North Ari Atoll

I feel sorry for people who are coming to visit Mathiveri and can't eat well, because there was no any other option we have chosen this restaurant. (One restaurant was closed, second one doesn't have toilet)

They have only one fresh juice - watermelon, others not available. Ice coffe, was not ice. We ordered some fried dish and i guess they need to change oil. Pasta carbonara was tasty, same caesar salat. I wanted to try other dish but i cant eat tomato so i finally choose alio oilo spagetti, which was drawing in the oil and they put tomatoes, which i asked them before not to put.

I believe that they can cook well food like rice or noodles, but I am sure I will not come to this...

I have been first costumer to come and waited 55 minutes for my order. It is way too long but I can be patient as I understand that some places made stuff from scratch. And this was the case. I have ordered grilled fish with rice and calamari. The calamari were absolutely amazing. And I mean it. Then they brought fish with rice and explained that as they don’t have grilled fish they are giving me whole fish for the same price of grilled fish (I appreciate it). Oh good it was...

Very tasty food, but extremely long wait. We waited one hour and a half for our food. We were starving by the time the food was served and it's extremely hot in the afternoon. They have just two small ventilators in two corners. I think this café is good for local people to drink their coffee. I don't recommend going there for food and definitely not during lunch. Could be nice place if time management was better. Everything takes an extremely long time...
