Palm — Restaurant in North Ari Atoll

The Palm became a little oasis on the island. There's something about this spot that just feels right: open-air tables under the palms, the smell of freshly baked pizza, and the ocean breeze drifting through.

We had 2 times lunch here, and each time was a delight. The salads, tartar, pasta and pizza were hands down one of the most memorable bites of the trip — bold, fragrant, and with that perfect crispy base.

For dessert we asker for homemade ice cream and frappés — and wow. The coconut and mango flavors were tropical perfection, but the pistachio stole the show.

The service was consistently warm and friendly, everything felt smooth and relaxed. It's the kind of place where you can sit for an hour doing nothing but watching the palm trees and sand.

Loved Palm. Possibly our favourite place on the island. We kept going back again and again during our visit. Everything we ate was excellent, but the chicken green curry pizza and the salsiccia, crema di zafferano e melanzane spaghetti (spaghetti with pork sausage, saffron cream and aubergine) hold a special place in our hearts. Great place to eat, staff are fantastic. Food is great. My one point I wanted to raise was that the pizzas were just ok. There was not that rich taste of pizzas cooked in a proper pizza oven. I don’t know if it’s the base that is used but they did taste a bit like those from freezers. Need more depth of flavour, not sure what the answer is to be honest. Either way , a beautiful place to go....
