THIS RESTAURANT IS A SCAM, CHECK ON THE MICHELIN GUIDE WEBSITE! THEY ADVERTISE THEMSELVES AS A MICHELIN STAR RESTAURANT, BUT THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE! THEY ONLY HAVE THE NAME OF AN ITALIAN CHEF WHO IN ORDER TO MAKE A LOT OF MONEY HAS "DEVELOPED" A MENU AND INCLUDED HIS DESSERT (THE ONLY APPRECIABLE THING!). THE MENU IS A FIXED TASTING TYPE, IT IS PRACTICALLY A FOOD FACTORY, THEY ONLY MAKE THESE COURSES ALWAYS. THEY PRESENT THEMSELVES WELL AND TRY TO SHOW OFF SEMI-TASSY ELEMENTS TO APPEAR LUXURY, CLOTHING INCLUDED! THE SERVICE OFTEN LOSES PIECES, THEY TRY TO DO A SIMULTANEOUS SERVICE BUT OFTEN THEY MOVE AND FURTHER "RUIN" THE DISHES SERVED. THE WINE ACCOMPANIMENT IS AWFUL, 4 GLASSES FOR 8 COURSES OF ONLY CHAMPAGNE, NOT EVEN TOO EXCLUSIVE, BUT THEY WILL KNOW HOW TO OVERPRICE YOU BY 10 TIMES. THEY OFTEN POUR MORE ON THE TABLE THAN IN THE GLASS AND THEY DON'T ALWAYS NOTICE IT AND CLEAN IT UP... IN ITALY IT WOULD BE, ACCORDING TO ALL ITALIAN DINNERS, A MEDIOCRE RESTAURANT, BUT PAID LIKE A 2-3 STAR! EVERYONE HAS HAD REASON TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IN SOME WAY. THE PLACE MAY ALSO BE NICE, BUT IT IS NOT UNIFORM, ONLY A PART OF THE PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO EAT IN THE COMPLETELY GLASS DOME, THE REMAINING WILL ONLY HAVE A FRONT GLASS WINDOW (THE SAME EXPERIENCE AS EATING A SANDWICH AT THE AQUARIUM!), THIS LEAD TO DIFFERENCES IN THE DINNERS, ALSO BECAUSE THE SEATS ARE CHOSEN BY THE STAFF WITH THEIR FREE INTERPRETATION, THE COST IS THE SAME, THE EXPERIENCE A LITTLE LESS! YOU WILL CONTINUOUSLY SEE DURING THE MEAL PEOPLE WHO WILL GET UP TO GO AGAINST THE GLASSES TO FILM, TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS OR HAVE THEIR PHOTOGRAPHS WITH EVERY SINGLE FUANA PRESENT, SO THAT YOUR MEAL IS A CONTINUOUS DISTURBANCE OF THE PEACE, WITH PEOPLE WHO OFTEN COME OVER YOU OR ASK YOU TO MOVE TO IMMORTALIZE THE SCENES, DURING YOUR MEAL... We visited H20 as a special experience for our 10yr anniversary and it was an absolutely breathtaking, mesmerising, moving experience!

We booked a few weeks in advance and got one of the best tables in the house (under the glass dome with 360 views of the sea life). Definitely book as early as you can, especially if it is an occasion. We visited for the 6.30pm sitting which was a great time to go, as we got to see the exquisite marine life in the daylight, at sunset and after dark.

The food was excellent (we had the meat menu on recommendation from a couple we met at the main hotel). Anyone who has said anything about the food ‘not being warm enough’ simply has not eaten at fine dining restaurants that offer tasting menus. Tasting menus are not meant to be super hot, because the he heat kills the flavours in the food. We were incredibly impressed by the quality of food offered as well as the attentiveness of the staff.

It is an expensive meal out, but so incredibly worth it for a special occasion!

Tip: Everyone dresses nicely to go here, but heels are not essential. I would carry a small fan if possible as it can be a bit warm if you are seated at 6.30pm or lunch, as the sun is very bright overhead. But it soon cools off once the sun...

An unforgettable experience at H²O - Underwater Restaurant

Having lunch at H²O Underwater Restaurant was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment you step in, you are literally submerged into an underwater world, surrounded by breathtaking views. Enjoying a delicious meal while watching marine life through the large glass windows is something unique and unforgettable. The ambiance is perfectly crafted, creating a serene and mesmerizing atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and savoring every moment.

As for the food, it was simply spectacular. Every dish was packed with flavor and attention to detail. The menu offered a great variety, featuring fresh ingredients and surprising combinations that resulted in a delightful explosion of tastes. Without a doubt, one of the best places I've ever eaten at.

The service deserves special recognition as well. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, always ensuring everything was perfect and taking the time to explain each dish with care. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.
