WORST customer service ever. On all levels. Zero Star. I'm with a few colleagues on mission in Mali. So we are all working professionals, that are well traveled and know how to act. (I say all this so the owner, Thierry doesn't come back with some bull) We went to the restaurant, there was this shy lady working there who said she was new. That's understandable. We order our food, even when asking about the menu, the owner, Thierry was very rude and dismissive. Then a group of men came and his attitude completely changed, he was very attentive taking great care of them. So over an hour passses without any food, but peanuts upon peanuts. There were a few tables that came after us (all whites), including the one just mentioned (mixed race group) and they all recived their food before us. We first asked the lady and she said it's the boss that passes the order, that boss will be the Thierry owner of the restaurant. So we then asked him why is our food taking so long and why are others getting served before us. He then started raising his voice saying the group of men were Ministry of something so they get to eat first. EXCUSE ME. If it's an official event, close the restaurant. (He could have atleaat said excuse us, they are high people, they are in a rush, the food is taking long. So many ways this could have gone) And everything just went down hill from there. He started yelling saying he doesn't need our money, he is the owner he has the right to kick us out, he can do as he wants and it's his right. So we said fine we'll just pay for our drinks and leave. He contiunes to say he doesn't need our money or our business we can just leave. He refused our money when we decided to pay for our drinks. So overall very rude and not sensitive to his clients or the black ones that are not ministers. Very bad and woud not recommend it. As you can see all the good reviews are from Whites, which means service differs per race.
