Santa Marija - Kazin Tal-banda — Restaurant in Żebbuġ

Took 30 minutes to take our order, another 30 minutes for the starter which turned out to be half cold half hot microwaved ravioli, and finally another hour and a half to get 2 small half burnt porkchops, making a total of 2 and a half hours of waiting. Service is unacceptable, staff are mostly inexperienced; cutlery came after the food, the waiters aren't sectioned properly everyone goes to every table which not only confuses the customer but reduces efficiency. I only leave a review if something is really great or really awful. I’m surprised by the other reviews, judging by the burgers we were served. The burgers were way over cooked, everything that went with it was basic, badly cooked and tasted bland. Had to force it down as we were so hungry but it was hard work. I’m not sure what the other food was like but this doesn’t inspire me...

I had pizza parma, thin and crunchy. Perfect for me. Pizzas could have done with more topping, was a bit meagre. Ravjoli and tortellini were very tasty. Service is slow but friendly, but they are very busy. The rooftop is cool and breezy and very pleasant. Not much view and no ambience really. Could do with some high planters and candles. Great...
