Booked a table to enjoy the view and the person on the other side of the phone indicated the days to go for best guaranteed views...guess what...one of us had the view of the wall as they put us on the side table of the balcony Ordered ribeye (medium cooked) and rabbit. They brought ribeye and lamb shanks. After 30mins waiting they brought us the right order...pity that the ribeye was the same one they brought 30mins before! Can you imagine a show sole? Well that was how the ribeye was presented...and the chef had the courage to tell us that the ribeye is medium cooked just because it was slightly pink in the middle of the steak!! All this negative vibes apart from the guy who brought us the wine but didn't unfortunately take the order! Obviously...we couldn't eat what was given to us and hence had to just get up, pay and leave

PS: as an answer to the restaurant answer, kindly note that maybe they didn't read well what was written, i.e. the guy who moved the table so we can both have the view and the same guy who brought us the wine was highly appreciated. As for the ribeye, noone ever told us that you will re-cook another one. It was us who asked you that since the ribeye was not medium cooked but well done, if you can change it. The guy went to the kitchen and coming back told us that the chef said "this is medium cooked as in the middle is slightly pink" ....beleive me...that was not medium cooked, this is not the first ribeye we ordered. A small note, we never moaned about the mistake in the order, mistakes happen and will be amended. But if you then give me the same ribeye that was kept in heat for 30mins waiting for the right order to come out, then by all means that will...

Excellent food well presented. And a broad variety of flavour combinations to suit both adventurous and reserved palettes.

Attentive staff helped me to my table and made sure I could enjoy the view from the window as I requested. Although when it came time to pay this went downhill rather sharply. Taking some time to notice that I wanted to use a card machine and standing over my shoulder watching me input the tip amount felt pressured.

Starter: "Beefy Pasta" sumptuous sauce over a generous portion of pasta, accompanied by fresh hand kneaded and cut bread which had a good texture and rise.

Main: "Pan Fried Duck Breast" cooked medium rare on request and served in an orange jus with roast potatoes and Mediterranean veg. The duck was perfect, with sweet and morish caramelized orange flavour perfectly mixed with the duck. However the roast potatoes were cut too large meaning that even after I had finished all the rest of my food they were still far too hot to eat. and not par boiled before roasting, which affected their texture and...

Imaginative salad came high and dry without a salad dressing and had to ask for some oil. They should clear the rubbish below the view. The waitress had no idea how to open or serve wine. The fault of course was not her own but in management and training. The service was bland, no smiles or warmth. The decor was copied and uninspiring, more of the new shiny ubiquitous black and grey shiny 'Maltese tiles' and worst was they served everyone with galletti and dips with their wine but forgot us. My pasta (with pear and cheese filling) was quite good but it was swimming in the same amount of non descript cream that my partner's overcooked tagliatelle were. The pluses were giving us a good table at short notice and allowing dogs in...

As the name suggests, this establishments gives access to some really beautiful Gozo landscape views, especially in the evening when the sun is setting. We were offered some fresh bread and appetizers on the house, which were really good. The ribs were amazing, very tender and the fried potatoes substituted traditional fries in a way that surprises me that not more restaurants are doing so. The beetroot sauce was also unexpected but great (thought it was ketchup before tasting it!). Finally to finish off the night, the imqaret dessert was delectable, but we expected to have at least two imqaret, not one split diagonally. All in all, this place delivers delicious food. Will return.

When in doubt go where the locals go. This especially applies to The View Bar-kitchen. Away from the touristy places, Zebbug is a quiet village. Finding the place is easy as it is only a few meters away from the parish church and in the main square. We took starters and main but were already full after the starters as the portions were that of a amin course. Good traditional food, with additional fresh bread to definitely be satisfied. Restaurant view is spectacular especially if you book a table outside just before sunset. Good service and friendly staff.
