We visited twice for lunch over the long holiday weekend of 15 August since the prices are fairly affordable and the dishes are average pizza and pasta variety but nothing to write home about. The place simply serves filling food on the quick and cheap (mostly with fried potatoes on the side) and achieves that aim eminently. Drinks are ok as long as they are of the bottled or canned variety. We ordered a Campari Spritz but the staff were not sure how to do it and it was a bit too diluted compared to those served in other places so clearly this is best avoided.
On the first visit, we had chicken burgers and fish and chips and on the second visit, we had rabbit ravioli and salmon penne. The burgers were a bit too dry but the fish was fine. The chips were ok. The second visit was better since pasta is a popular choice and the portions were abundant. We saw some meat dishes at a nearby table and they looked ok too.
Both dining occasions were generally pleasant and positive and we would certainly return again. Generally, the place is clean, the staff are polite, the wait time is acceptable and there's also a children playroom. Parking is easy especially at weekends when the industrial estate is closed. The background music is however much too loud and there are huge TV screens everywhere, probably to show football matches. Overall, a good, cheap place to eat a quick pasta or burger meal if you happen...
Read moreLocated in the middle of an industrial estate, easy to locate with ample street parking spaces in the evening as most of the industries are closed at that time. Had high expectations of this place but as a group of 8 persons , we felt as if we were not welcome in this restaurant. We booked at 8.15pm. On arrival, we were immediately presented with the menus and asked what drinks we would like. We were not even settled in our seats. This happened again with the food order , being the first time we visited, we did not know the menu, it took some time to view the menu choices. The approach was constant during our dinner and the waiters made us feel that they were in a hurry to finish their work asap. Two of us did not finish eating their meal and we were already presented with the dessert choice and asked if we would like a coffee. Instead of going out to relax and enjoy a good meal. We felt super frustrated and surely not welcomed in this restaurant. We learned from another client that this restaurant unfortunately closes at 10 PM! So I suggest if you would like to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends after a day of work , especially in this hectic life we are living do not go there. We will surely choose somewhere else with better service at the same prices , where we feel welcome...
