I visited this cafeteria based on its reputation for quality drinks and service, but unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I ordered a cappuccino, a caffe latte with almond milk (due to a severe milk allergy), and a hot chocolate.
Cold Drinks: When our drinks arrived, both the cappuccino and hot chocolate were cold – definitely not freshly made or enjoyable. Incorrect Milk in the Latte: I specifically requested almond milk because of my allergy, yet the latte was served with a different type of milk (I believe oat milk). I sent it back, but the replacement latte was still made with the wrong milk. Not only that, it was watery and more like a weak cup of tea with milk rather than a proper latte. Smaller Portions: The size of the latte and hot chocolate were much smaller than expected, which was disappointing given the price we paid. Service Issues: The service was truly awful. When I went to pay, the cashier charged me for a "luxury hot chocolate" with extra panna, which I didn’t receive. When I explained this, the cashier went to speak with the barista, and he literally rolled his eyes at me when he saw the situation. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and made me feel disrespected. While the supervisor did eventually deduct the extra charge, the whole experience was uncomfortable and frustrating. Lack of Basic Courtesy: None of the servers smiled or showed any warmth, which was a huge letdown. I understand it was a busy day, but after everything that happened, a smile or a kind word would have gone a long way in improving the experience. It felt like the staff was just going through the motions without any effort to make customers feel welcome. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but after such a disappointing experience, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. I had expected much more, especially given the café’s reputation for excellent service and high-quality drinks. After visiting such Cafeteria 2 or 3 times since after Easter '24 I can truly say I count myself more than lucky to have met and been so professionally served by Julian( Supervisor)and Ms.Maggie as they both, immediately make you highly welcome + also see to your every need while there, so promptly and efficiently! --Really I can say they're both a credit++ to Busy Bee Fgura as they go out of their way to carry the Brand's name flag flying that high! ---A Cafeteria of this highly acclaimed sort as Busy Bee brand was surely missing and so very needed this South side of Malta and especially for a very busy modern town, as Fgura truly is!
Thank you once again Julian and Maggie in particular, but also all the other staff there for making my visits there so rewarding in all aspects of my expectations in every dept you cater for:----being great sweet delicacies, speciality coffees/teas, food fare and so much more!!👌👏🏼✌.

Read moreUnsafe and Useless staff I left the cafe after purchasing something. As I was leaving I slipped and fell down the stairs in front of the door. There was water on the stairs and they were extremely slippery. No hand rail to hold on to or anti-slip strips, nor signage. I bent my knee and hurt my leg badly. People around came to help immediately. One staff member came to put out the yellow cone only. AFTER I HAD FALLEN. After a while a staff member finally came to assist with some ice. Then started telling me that I should have been more careful, that it’s my responsibility for my own safety. Saying there was the cone, WHICH HIS COLLEAGUE HAD JUST PUT OUT AFTER I HAD FALLEN. Blaming me for simply walking. While not taking any responsibility whatsoever. Offering no sympathy or actual help except from holding the bag of ice in his hands. When I suggested that they should have anti- slip strips on the stairs he brushed me off saying I should have used the ramp on the left side of the entrance.
