Istanbul Kebab House Ghaxaq — Restaurant in Għaxaq

Whilst visiting from the UK as my family in malta live near here and after a long day at the beach, i decided to try this shop. One thing i notìced was the only option to eat rice with your meal was cold, they do not heat it up, a bit strange but ok. I have eaten from turkish all over the world and have never been served hot meats with cold rice, they wouldnt heat it up when i asked. Ok so i ordered salad instead. There was 2 people in the shop including myself but when i got home i saw they had given me someone elses salad box, not the salad i had chosen. So i had no hot sauce on my chicken shish, cold rice and potato salad, both of which i dislike. So basically i have paid €10,50 for some small, dry pieces of chicken which had no flavour. Rice and potatos which i don't eat cold and to be honest, it was thrown away. If there were 10 people in the shop maybe mistakes happen, but shouldnt when only 2. I love proper turkish food but this is far from it, i have turkish friends in the UK and they would never class this as their food. You always eat turkish with meat, hot rice or cous cous, and bread, a range of sauces, and it is amazing. This for me was...

We've had a pleasant time eating here. The food was ok, although lamb was particularly bad, so i wouldn't really recommend it, the chicken was ok.

We've taken a wide selection of food, but, in general, they were mostly the same, besides the wrap, which is a kebab.

Prices are fine, with the kebab being 7e, and all other portions around 11e.

Staff is nice as well, when you decide to dine in. Toilets are rather filthy and smelled bad, but they did the job, at least for...

Really disappointed with your service...called for takeaway ..they told me at 8.00....at 8.20 called to see if it will take long they told me yes coming ...9.00 oclock and delivery never arrived..tried to call and line is cut off...thanks very much thanks to your bad service we ended up...
