Lovely location next to the Rotunda. Seats in the sun but with shade if you prefer. Good prices and lots to choose from. We were just wanting a light lunch so had the ftira. One with Tuna and the other with the local cheese with black pepper. Both had plenty of filling and were delicious. We chilled out for a bit with a couple of Aperol spritz which were perfectly made. Read moreHorrendous! Went in yesterday for a quick drink as have been in the past and was good. Do not know if the place has been taken over sine last time I went. When we went to order drinks inside we were greeted with a gruff 'yes'. Asked what beer they serve, 'cisk' any other? 'No' turned around and there was a fridge full of different branded beers. Ordered 1 Stella, 1 small can of 7 up and a small bottle of generic water and the total was nearly €7. Apparently it's tourist prices for the non Maltese residents in this cafe. Paid for my drinks and did not receive a receipt. Would not recommend going here even if it is prime location...
Read moreCame here late in the night after grueling 28 hour traveling to Malta. Had my first Maltese pasta and amazing local wine with plentiful olives and honey cakes for dessert and that fixed almost the entire nightmare of a day we had. We retreated back to this place again before leaving back home after horrible dinner at a nearby restaurant where the owner fixed us amazing proper cup of tea and sweet liquer to fix our whining and watched the EU football with the locals and lingering music from nearby harmonica in front of the beautiful cathedral of Mosta. I am definitely stopping by here again with my husband when we arrive...
