I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant BuonBon Cafe, and I couldn’t be more impressed by the meal. The Italian Sausage Pinsa was an absolute highlight – a perfect balance of bold flavors and light, crispy perfection. The base had an irresistible crunch, while the generous toppings of savory Italian sausage, creamy mozzarella, and sharp parmesan shavings melded beautifully together. The tangy tomato sauce tied everything together, creating a dish that felt both comforting and vibrant. Every bite was a flavorful journey, and I couldn't get enough of the crispy crust.
To complement the pinsa, I opted for the Aglio Olio Pasta with Chicken and Sundried Tomatoes, and it did not disappoint. The pasta was perfectly al dente, tossed in a rich and aromatic garlic-infused olive oil sauce. The succulent pieces of chicken added a savory depth, while the sundried tomatoes brought a burst of sweetness that elevated the entire dish. The balance of garlic, olive oil, and those tender sundried tomatoes was exquisite, making each bite a true treat. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, adding just the right amount of protein to make the dish feel complete.
Together, these two dishes offered an unforgettable meal. Whether you're in the mood for a classic yet elevated pinsa or a flavorful, satisfying pasta, these dishes are a must-try....

We walked into this restaurant hoping to have a pleasant breakfast, but unfortunately, we were met with extremely rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff—particularly one woman who was unnecessarily aggressive in her tone.
Despite several empty tables, we were told very bluntly to sit at a small table right by the entrance, practically in the doorway. When we politely asked to sit elsewhere, we noticed another two-person table inside that was also free, along with many other empty tables. However, we were told we couldn’t sit there because they were “saving them for bigger groups.” These were not reserved tables—just ones they wanted to keep free in case a group showed up.
The way this was communicated to us was not only disrespectful but made us feel extremely unwelcome. After walking all the way there, we ended up leaving without even sitting down because of how poorly we were treated.
I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with...
Read moreFirst impressions really do matter. Lovely lady came and greeted us when coming through the door. Spoke in Maltese to me and my partner and English when I didn’t understand fully. Outlined she makes everything such the pastries herself. Tried the brownie with the Maltese tea while waiting for the food and it was very good. Definitely top 2 in brownies I’ve had since moving to Malta. It’s also in my Partners top 3, a local. The service is nothing like I’ve experienced here before, very kind, friendly and attentive at the right times. The food itself was very good also, we had the chicken enchiladas and the Full & Proper. Both were very good and you can tell they really care about what they are serving. We will be back for the brownies and another cuppa soon and to try some more of the food options (not that we need a reason...
