Yiamas Greek Tavernaki offers mouthwatering Greek cuisine. From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported to the heart of Greece. The restaurant is set up really simple with traditional blue and white painted walls along a beautiful hanging plants. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with traditional decor and calming greek music.
We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday evening, the hosts greeted us with an ouzo shot. Every dish we tried was an explosion of authentic Greek flavours. The moussaka was incredibly flavourful, with perfectly layered eggplant and a rich, creamy sauce.
We also took the chicken souvlaki which was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy with a hint of char which is served with fresh tzatziki, fries and grilled pita. They also gave us a free aubergine dip with our meal. The baklava was divine, flaky layers of phyllo dough, sweet honey, and a touch of spice. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. Overall the prices are value for money.
The service was exceptional and attentive, making us feel well taken care of throughout our meal.
We can recommend the restaurant. Yiamas is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic...

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, the hosts greeted us with an ouzo shot and we sat on a table just in front of their open kitchen. The restaurant is set up really simple with traditional blue and white painted walls along a beautiful hanging plant with red leaves. We ordered some sarmadakia (stuffed leaves with rice and herbs) and tzatziki with pita bread as starters and for a main course we took the mixed grill. All their grills were cooked to perfection which is served with fresh fried potatoes and grilled pita. We also ordered a Greek Syrah which turned out to be exceptional. Bathroom is spacious and very tidy. For anyone who looks for mousaka, they offer it at their restaurant in Birgu. Nothing more to add. Euxaristw...
