Kaputa Cafe & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Qala

Unbelievable experience. Service apeared rude though they threw everything on the table but I am sure they meant well. Had the house special lasagne and I've never seen something like this. 7 (!) layers of pasta without ANY sauce or meat in between. That really was a masterpiece. We counted 20 tiny bits of mince in the whole lasagne. It was topped with (felt like) a liter of Bechamel sauce that even killed the last little taste of the pasta. We had to go 2 floors down to pay the bill. Maybe they didn't trust the nice and forthcoming waitresses. Who knows. It was funny though. But I wanted to cry if I had to spend money for it. All the food was excellent… Great place for pizza in Gozo… The place is charming and the pizza is yummie… I was surprised positively with the quality of the food served and the service provided by the staff… Great food at a great price especially the local white wine… One of my favourite meals on Gozo, it was so good we went twice… We had a great dinner. The fish was fresh and plenty of it… The Pizza is awesome and of course the price as well…. Great pizza and pasta and...

Food is okay, pizza's are great, the local food as well. Try the rabbit or the bragiola. Local Maltese wine was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately service was quite rude and unfriendly. Such a shame, losing a star in my rating...
