Atrio Lobby Bar & Restaurant - Balluta Bay — Restaurant in Saint Julian's

The food was amazing however we were very dissappointed, we made a reservation through tableo for 5 people for an afternoon tea. They served us 4 afternoon teas when we got their attention on the matter they accused us that we booked for 4 adults and kept on insisting that it was a mistake from our end even though we showed them the email that showed '5 adults'. We then were told to wait 30 minutes and we will get the afternoon tea because it was being prepared, we were happy to wait. 45 minutes passed and we got their attention again and finally we were served. At no point was there an apology for their mistake or being forgotten about. To make matters worse when we went to pay we were billed for 6 people instead of 5 ( an extra 17.50 euro). We won't be returning for obvious reasons which is a pity since the food...

I had an incredible dining experience at Atrio Lobby Bar & Restaurant inside the Marriott. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and attentive service. Every detail, from seating to recommendations, was handled with genuine care.

I ordered the sea bass, and it was absolutely outstanding , beautifully cooked, tender, and flavorful, with a perfect balance of seasoning and freshness. You could tell that a lot of thought and skill went into the preparation. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions.

Overall, between the excellent food and top-notch service, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Atrio to anyone looking for a memorable meal in a stylish setting. I’ll definitely...

Was it because the date of our 7 days visit coincided with one of the worst storms to hit the island in 5 years, or was it due to the limited half board menu.

Either way over a seven night period, there was only 1 night when there wasn't an issue. To be fair, the staff appears at time to be more like deer in the headlamps of an oncoming freight train. But if the menu says "Chicken Caesar Salad" there's a big issue when there's no chicken. It's worse if you then blame the customer for not ordering the Chicken to be served with the "Chicken Caesar Salad". On another occasion the undercooked burger, the cold uncooked sausage and black hair ( my hair is white) on the pork bau pao meant all confidence in eating here ebbed away.

I can see what it's trying to achieve, but get the basics...
