Intercontinental Beach Bar — Restaurant in Saint Julian's

Went here for a 'beach day', somewhat confusing on entry - perhaps we missed the signs, For non-hotel guests it is €35 per person, of which €10 is for a sunbed and €25 goes behind the bar for future orders (anything you order above the €25 you pay later on),

The food was good we all had the burger meal deal (other options available), which was reasonably priced (came with burger of your choice from the menu, chips and a drink (half-pint beer / soft drinks),

Service was okay, seemed to be waiting a while for them to come round and ask you if you wanted a drink, we ended up flagging them down a couple of times,

Given the location and the lack of beach around here, I would visit again for a chilled day,

Music from the bar was mainly Bossa Nova / Acoustic covers,...

Don’t go. My mother and I initially sat at one of the tables, placed our order, and then decided to move to the sun loungers. Immediately, a lady approached us, charging 45 euros per person to use the sunbeds. I told her it was too expensive for us and that we would be leaving, and the waiter insinuated that I should pay for the drinks we ordered, as they were already prepared. If you want to charge that much for the use of the sunbeds, make it clear to your customers as soon as they arrive that there is a fee and what the cost is. We went for drinks and stayed for dinner thanks to the superb service by the Bar Manager Senthamil. The food and beverage options were good and came with an eye-pleasing presentation. But something that surprised us pleasantly was the service was warm and friendly despite the outlet being busy. We went to celebrate an occasion (a friend's birthday) and the staff made sure we were enjoying our time. I would recommend the place to anyone and everyone. It's been a lovely experience. P.s.
