I had the pleasure of dining at Lumi Malta, located within the elegant voco Malta by IHG, and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the service. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was inviting, with stylish seating options both indoors and outdoors, catering perfectly to different preferences.

Our waitress and bartender, Payse, provided exceptional service. She was incredibly polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and demonstrated true professionalism throughout our visit. Her friendly and attentive manner added a personal touch that elevated the whole experience.

I ordered the Chilli Ranch Burrito, the Brisket Doughnut, and the Chopped Salad, accompanied by sparkling water. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The burrito offered a delicious balance of spice and richness, the brisket doughnut was an inventive and indulgent treat, and the chopped salad brought a refreshing contrast with its crisp, fresh ingredients. Altogether, the meal was well-rounded and deeply satisfying.

The restaurant itself is modern and tastefully designed, blending comfort with sophistication. It’s clear that attention to detail is a priority here, both in the food and the overall ambience.

From the moment we walked into Lumi, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was welcoming, elegant, and full of charm — but what truly made the evening unforgettable was the exceptional food, outstanding wine selection, and the incredibly warm and professional team.

We were absolutely blown away by the quality of the ingredients and the flavors on every plate. The USA Ribeye was out of this world — perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and bursting with rich, smoky flavor. It’s without doubt one of the best we've ever had!

Wine lovers, take note: Lumi offers a superb and carefully curated wine list. We were thrilled to discover the rare gem Odon, Marcus Divinus — a divine and unexpected find that elevated the entire experience.

The staff were all wonderfully attentive, smiling, and genuinely kind, adding a bright and human touch to the evening. But the true “cherry on the cake” was Sravan, whose service, heart, and professionalism deserve a special mention. He was not only incredibly efficient and intuitive but also warm, sincere, and full of positive energy. People like Sravan are rare — he made us feel truly cared for and turned a beautiful dinner into a truly memorable evening.

My friends and I went to Lumi on Thursday the 25th op September. It was such a great and warm experience. We were kindly guided to our table. We really loved the atmosphere and space and look of the restaurant and sitting place. The music was very nice. Our guy Jeewah received us in an exceptionally great way. We ordered a bottle of wine and he told a story behind it and then told us about something of his personal life. We spoke and it felt directly friendly. He really took his time for us and laughed a lot together. We told him about a birthday of a friend and he arranged a beautiful surprise with delicious cake. Then we got great cocktails from Mari. He also was very welcoming and friendly and seemed to enjoy that we enjoyed the great cocktails. These types of employees deliver a great personal image of a company. I have studied marketing and know that this touchpoint from a employee to customer is the most important extension for a restaurant next to the food and drinks. Really top service. They deserve all credits. Also big compliments to the rest of the employees who served us. Truly exceptional. Next time I'll go to Malta I will make sure to eat here again. Kind regards, Bram...
