Quality of food is good and there are several plates that are well priced for the quality. But service and quality of sunbeds etc is horrible.
To make place for more beds they removed a lot of tables. Now there are only 4 tables were you can have a decent lunch in the shade. Once those are taken you can eat your rib eye from your lap on the deck chair.
Some sunbeds are damaged, and it was fully booked so we could not change them.
Shade is a luxury that no money can buy here. The umbrellas are not enough nor well placed.
Sunbeds are too close to pool. Moving them back just 1 foot will make a huge difference. Avoids splashing on the chairs and also allows more space for people swimming especially if one of the sides is the only place in the pool with shade.
It is not really an adults only pool. These greedy people will accept anyone to make more money, even if they got you to pay €90 which you did thinking it is adults only.
Service is a disgrace, they are not aware they work for one of the best hotels in Malta but think they work for a gabbana. It is better to close this place if you cannot change the service as you are giving the rest of the hotel a bad name. One of the girls is also very rude, when asked to change a glass because she gave it to me dirty, her reply was “WHY?”. Are you stupid? The manager is also clueless about how to run a 5 star pool area and...
Read moreMy honest opinion:
Expensive for 2 people 70€ per person as a minimum consumption, plus 20€ for a set of sunbeds. Of course nobody brings you a bill if you do not ask for it , consequently you need to do the math yourself in order to remember how much you spent. 😊 Pool nice(could be deeper) , lovely view . Service good , but they are telling you to leave at 6 as they are changing to night shift and dinner menu ( nobody informs you about that in the beginning of course 😊😊). So , out of the 140€ minimum consumption you might had spent 80-90€ so the rest 50€ are...... Tips or a small sponsorship to whomever😝.. unacceptable in my opinion, you have to tell how much more I can spend (I prepaid for that), offer me some sweet , some wine or whatever... Maybe I'm too Greek and I have the word filoxenia in my culture. In any case , it is what it is , you can spend a nice day by the pool if you are willing to spend that amount of money, it's your choice ( Malta doesn't have a nice sea consequently you might need to invest to a pool once and this is...
Read moreThe positive reviews are puzzling. The food was barely acceptable, the service was very slow, and it showed a lack of common sense, bringing the bottle without glasses, then only bringing glasses after the ice had melted. The place was only one-third full, and although there seemed to be enough staff, they appeared focused on everything except their actual job. For this pricing for sure there are much better places. And yes, needs a lot of refurbishing beds with mold stains, very used tables for eating, umbrellas broken... Also it says kids are not allowed but they were there. For sure will never come again. If you are clean person you will...
