Veranda Grill & Wine — Restaurant in Saint Julian's

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. The food was not only incredibly tasty but also beautifully presented — a real feast for both the eyes and the palate. I had two dishes, one pasta in a rich and creamy sauce with perfectly cooked bacon and parmesan flakes, and a second plate featuring rolled chicken with mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and a touch of pesto. Both were bursting with flavor and clearly prepared with great care and attention to detail.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They checked in regularly to see if everything was okay, if we needed anything else, or if we wanted any adjustments to our meals. This kind of service makes a huge difference and really elevates the whole dining experience.

Another highlight were the drinks – very well balanced, tasty, and most importantly, not watered down like in many other places. Everything was fresh and served with a smile.

I genuinely don't even know what to write. I find it hard to find words that do justice to how amazing the food was. The meat was so tender and perfectly balanced with the other ingredients. It was pure perfection. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I personally ordered the chicken masala. I was served a bowl of rice and a bowl of chicken curry. I thought I would want to mix the rice with the curry, but the flavour of the rice alone was so good on its own that I couldn't make up my mind up about eating it just like this or mixing it with the curry. If there is one thing that I would change it would be the virgin pina colada. It was a tad too sweet for me. It could just be my personal preference. Furthermore the desserts were absolutely outstanding. I definitely recommend number 86. I was pleasantly surprised. I cant explain the flavour but its something you dont want to miss out on! The ambiance in the restaurant is also very cosy. The toilets weren't clean however. I'd recommend the staff to check on them and clean them more often.

Great food, chill atmosphere and incredible staff

This is a great combination to have when you're hungry for some great tasting food. Veranda has an excellent fusion menu with something to temp most palates and an extensive drinks menu to finish off the temptation and take a seat to enjoy everything they have to offer.

We had a perfectly cooked greek style chicken with a tomato, avocado and burrata salad which was incredibly tasty and super fresh.

We couldn't have asked for anything else after a day touring the island and visiting so many other places that were so mismatched with loud music, too crowded and bad menus.

Recommendations

Fully recommended if you want to enjoy 1) a great menu, 2) super friendly staff 3) good drinks selection.
