Great Asian fusion restaurant with welcoming staff and fast service. Used to have an absolute favourite in the Firecracker chicken dish, however of recent this has become a disappointment. After complaining to staff, I have been advised that following a recent visit by someone from the international franchise, apparently they had been doing this dish "wrong". Now it is much less of that feiry red sauce and more of a "dry" afterthought of a little sauce accompanying a few titbits of chicken (not even cooked in the firecacker sauce). On complaining you get a small bowl of "extra" sauce (obviously at a price) but tasted more of tomato concentrate than the actual signature dish. Sorry Wagamama, but following your international franchise advice has ruined what was probably your best offering. Don't think I will be ordering this dish anymore, sorry to say... Okay, just got the bill, was not charged for the "extra" sauce, but still overall disappointed...
Read moreWorst Wagagamama ever. Money wasted! They didn't even serve the Kimchi side dish for the each main dish unlike the other Wagamamas in other countries.
Tastes horrible. What they serve is not the Asian food at all. Not even close. Just really bad. And plus really small portion for one person for the price. Too expensive for those trash food.
Curry and Ramen were especially so bad. Ramen was nothing better than the instant noodle from the grocery stores. Better cook the instant noodles for yourself and it is cheaper and better than this trash noodle here. Curry had no curry taste. It just tasted like some vegetables with some fish soup. That fish smell and taste were so disgusting. They must have not washed their plates completely after serving somebody's dish.
Some of their plates smelled bad and sticky. They really need to care about the hygiene. Everything there including food looked and smelled so dirty.
Overall,...
Read moreI started going to Wagamama in London maaaaany years ago when I lived over there. Have since then visited them many places around the world. This time was the first time I was actually disappointed. The waitress we had was super stressed and ended up messing up orders, gave tables wrong bills etc. We ordered a large water and two beers. It took almost 20 minutes before we got either. We actually received our starter before we got the drinks. The starter that our waitress first gave to the wrong table. The food, pad Thai that I have eaten many times felt to plain, almost no flavour. Neither my wife’s steak teriyaki was something to write home about.
Wagamama St. Julian’s you need to step up your game, this isn’t...
