Reposting a review left by my other half on trip advisor, we will NOT be going back...

I was initally very excited about visiting this restaurant. The restaurant appeared to have very good reviews and the food looked very appetising.

Me and my partner decided to visit the restaurant and were very shocked and disgusted by the welcome that we received.

I am a young black female and my partner a black male, both from the UK. Upon approaching the restaurant, I noticed that I was being stared at intently by a female outside of the restaurant who may have worked there but at the very least was clearly not a customer. The lady stared at me from head to toe (numerous times) in what appeared to be a derogatory way, which made me feel very uneasy and uncomfortable.

The female continued to watch me as I entered the restaurant and appeared to laugh at me and my partner after we had been seated inside.

I was made to feel very uncomfortable, particularly as the waitress serving us appeared to be very friendly with the rude woman. The waitress was equally dismissive and appeared to be visibly uncomfortable by our presence.

I made the decision to leave the restaurant as I felt that I was intentionally made to feel unwelcome.

The lady outside of the restaurant continued to stare at me and my partner as we left the restaurant. The experience was very unpleasant and tainted my evening.

I appreciate that this may have been a one off incident and not a true representation of the restaurant, however, it has tainted my view of the restaurant and I have no intention of returning there...

Feeling robbed and poisoned I live in this area for 5 years and never have been in this restaurant . Yesterday decided to have dinner with my girlfrien in here. Place was almost full, we sat at the table. First, the waiter couldn't explain anything, because she didn't speak English. Than young man approached us and we asked about lobster pasta and drinks. He answered that lobster is fresh and two halves cost 38 euros. We ordered lobster, still water, glass of wine and Italian Poretti 5 beer. He broght the beer and water. I started drinking beer and was surprised by the look of it. It was muddy, with some white little peaces inside. I asked is it normal as I never tried this beer, he answered yes it is totally normal and it's is supposed to be like this, so without worry I kept drinking. They forgot glass of vine and complimentary bruschetta, so we asked for vine again. Lobster with pasta and bruschetta was served at the same time. Straight away we saw that big part of lobster is missing and it is filled with vegetables. Lobsters totally wasn't fresh or cooked fresh, it tasted like precooked and reheated. After few minutes it was totally cold. Lobster crusher was brought just on request after we struggled to brake some parts. It was very expensive pasta with fraction of lobster and beer whitch was totally off( I checked how it's have to look online and it's supposed to be cristal clear. All night had problem with stomach, feeling nauseous and sick, even in the morning still feeling the...

I've been visiting Malta with my parents. We found this place through Google maps. According to the reviews, it seemed to be a good restaurant to visit. We didn't have high expectations, since the food in Malta is a really good quality, even talking about 'fast food'. However, 'the best seafood on the island' reviews looked really attractive. We went there for a family dinner. My mother is a seafood and fish crazy lover, and my father vice versa - meat eater. I was surprised that both, seafood and meat, was sooo good! We ordered the 'fish selection' for 2, which arrived as a selection of two types of fried fish, marinated anchovies, calamari, crab or lobster meat in kind of tartar sauce (we didn't get - it was too delicious!). These plates to share were so well presented, and I'm not even talking about the taste! One word - perfection)) We also ordered an octopus that deserves another portion of compliments - very soft, with no smell or taste of sea water, fresh, cooked with spices. My father had a pork which came as a pretty good-sized meal, served with potatoes and salad. The prices are quite affordable, especially considering the quality and the atmosphere! It's a very small restaurant yet very cosy, marine thematic and extremely friendly. We really enjoyed our time in 'Acqua Marina ' and will definitely come back to try different sea...

We were meant to go to Marsaxlokk today since I have a friend visiting. Due to me not feeling well, I did a search of the best seafood restaurants in Malta and this little one came up. Luckily I decided to book as it is a really popular venue. The bruschette served was great. We shared the Sicilian platter which had some Sicilian sausage, two delicious cheeses, an aubergine dish and then a mouthwatering green pepper and tomato salsa. My two companions had the swordfish which was terrific and I had the crustacean pasta. Generous helping of clams and mussels. Would like to have seen some prawns and not the tiny shrimps. Rounded off with some great coffee. The restaurant is tiny but has a great vibe. There are tables outside as well. A family had a small child there which was a bit much at times but not a issue. I love that you can have your dog with you at the outside tables! All in all a great experience - well worth it.

One of the best italian restaurants i have ever eaten in. The ingredients were really fresh and tasted wonderfully prepared. We went there twice! For starters, we had the classic fish platter with cozze mussels, a kind of fish frittata, a fish and bean salad and the salmon rolls with ricotta. highly recommended! For the "country" starter, we had meatballs in tomato sauce, a charcutterie with cheese, salami and bresola, grilled vegetables and a kind of aubergine lasagne. For the main course we had fresh pesce Spada (swordfish) and pesce Tonno (clayfish) with a wonderful Sicilian sauce. The second time we had pasta with seafood and pesto, which was also wonderful. Despite our full bellies, we had a panna cotta for dessert. The staff were incredibly nice and recommended their favourite dishes to us. The price-performance ratio was also completely ok. I can only recommend this restaurant!

Delicious food served in very generous portions, be careful when ordering if you want to have space for a dessert 😂😅 Staff were very accommodating when I asked whether any of the fish on the menu are served as a fillet, answer to this question was a short "no" and before I could say that this is fine the waiter quickly followed up with "if you want a fillet we will make a fillet!", don't think I've ever been to a restaurant so focused on their guests requests. We ordered Antipasto Aquamarina (two arancini are missing from the first plate in the picture cause we inhaled them too quickly), baked seabream (fillet 😅) and Tonno Alla Sicilliana, there was no chance to fit any desserts in after the hearty portions! Definitely worth a visit!
