My company booked a corp event at this place. It was family event and I came with my wife and daughter. A manager called me twice the day before to make sure we are coming etc. She was smiling to me and my daughter when I was paying for the entire company by the entrance, when we came down another staff manager kindly showed us our sun beds. Everything was fine till this moment. Another manager popped out and said âoh you know kids are not allowed, we changed the policy some time agoâ. Iâve been there with my kids before so I had no idea itâs a problem. Even though I explained that is it a bit later to say that, he didnât want to listen and kicked my wife and my daughter out⌠day was ruined⌠the booking confirmation email uses the entire chapter to explain dress code but has nothing about kids you saw me paying with my daughter in my hands and didnât say a thing you welcomed me to my sun beds and didnât say a thing You had all the chances to communicate things right. You have this âno kids allowedâ on a booking screen but if a booking is done by one person for 8+ other people it cost you nothing to clarify such an important for you thing when you bother calling people few time a day before for way less important aspects. Horrible way of managing your clients. The rest of the day wasnât the best: no you canât move umbrellas no we donât have Prosecco no we donât have alcohol free cocktails one of our colleagues steps on broken glass by the pool and cut her leg
The place is fancy, the...

We first visited beefbar on the beach back in 2023. I planned to propose to my partner whilst on holiday in Malta, when the right moment struck. Sunset at beefbar was a super special end to the most fabulous day - luxury lunch, great music and personable service from both our attendants, Dennis and George. The atmosphere at the beach club was great, whilst not being overcrowded with people. We had a perfect view of the sunset over the sea from the privacy of our poolside double gazebo. The moment had presented itself!
A big thank you to Dennis for secretly capturing the special moment for us (Turns out he is quite the photographer!) and to the management for the complimentary bottle of champagne to enjoy whilst celebrating and catching the last of the sunset (nice touch!).
Today we revisited the venue to celebrate our anniversary. Dennis and George and other members of staff remembered us as we arrived, greeted us and made sure we had the same gazebo that we had the day of the proposal, and of course looked after us for the rest of the day! Itâs the little things that make the difference.
A must visit if looking for a bit of luxury...
Read moreHad dinner on a Thursday night with the wife. We both had fillet steak, medium rare with pepper sauce, which was cooked perfectly and was very tasty, and at 45 euros for 200g was not too far outside reasonable cost for high end restaurants. The waiter was also very attentive. But, the overall menu was confusing and vegetables were virtually absent throughout. We ordered a kale salad as a side dish (as the only other veg appeared to be corn), -the salad was nice but ridiculously expensive at 24 euros for a few greens and a scattering of cheese. However, the experience was mostly spoilt by the excessive markup on drinks which left one with the impression that the owners thought little of their guests and were trying to see what they could get away with! The cheapest red wine (a beaujolais) was 55 euros whilst a château neuf du pape was priced at an eye watering 250!! Even a glass of wine would set you back 18 euros The restroom was basic (and one of the 2 out of order) with plain concrete floor and walls which I assume was to accommodate those guests using the pool attached to the restaurant during the daytime.
Sadly, despite the delicious steak we could not wait to get...
