Our experience with this restaurant was very bad. We went there on a Saturday afternoon and we wanted to get dinner. It was our second day in Malta. The place was almost empty. We entered to ask the waitress if we could sit outside and we didn't get three words out when she told us in a broken English: "no, no space" and she left. We waited a bit for her to come back beacause we really didn't understand if the tables outside were reserved, or the whole place was. Their steaks and wine we're of a higher grade compared to mine. Their steaks were clearly thicker and tasted much better. Unfortunately my soup had a blonde hair in it. The waitress gave my order to my friend by mistake. We switched after she ate some vegetables. The apple pie was quite amazing. It seemed to us the package dinner was not as good. Disappointing for my last dinner in Malta. I guess 3 out of 4 meals were good. I would recommend not ordering the $16.95 special. You get what...
Read moreThe only disappointment in this place is that we found it on our last night. It's up a side street off the main outlets, so it's quiet. Its absolutely well worth the visit. We couldn't believe how cheap it was and how good the food was for the cost. Portion sizes are huge, you get a lot of food for very good price! €9 for a sirloin steak, which was fantastic! Cooked exactly how you ask for it. Drinks were also very well priced. The wife had mussels and the amount she got was ridiculous! Never seen so many! Please visit this place if you get chance. You'll not be...
