Diana's Pub — Restaurant in Saint Paul's Bay

The best meal we had in Malta.

The pub itself is a quaint little English themed pub playing great music and showing local sports. All the staff were really friendly and the whole place was lovely and clean.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza, my partner the rib-eye steak. The pizza was absolutely beautiful, stone baked, sizable and packed with flavour. I honestly wished I had room to eat the whole thing again.

The steak was the best either of us have ever had. The portion was good, the meat was well tendered and cooked exactly how she requested. With a hint of lemon, it tasted amazing. With a generous side of fries and fresh salad, well worth it being the most expensive item on the menu. All for just over 30 euro, great value and...

If you're a tourist looking for good prices and great atmosphere, Diana's Pub is a must go, especially if you like the English pub kind of vibes. Went alone just for a drink, but I actually ended staying plenty of hours, one of the reasons being the great atmosphere and the fact that the guy from the bar was super friendly and very opened to discuss and recommend some activities to do in Malta. Not great! Most expensive Cisk in Buggiba at €4.50 in a bar reminiscent of the 1970s. Also only able to grudgingly part with our €9 after proving we only had one each and not three between us! They initially wanted €13.50! Oh…and it’s apparently cash only which is also a first for the 10-days we spent on Malta so far! It’s 3rd March and not many people about…maybe best not upset the few...
