Great Wall Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Saint Paul's Bay

Disgusting!!!! I don't know how some restaurants in Buggiba centre are open at all...my boyfriend and I got a set with spring rolls, chicken curry fried rice and coffee. "Coffee" tasted like piss, the cheapest possible instant, I wouldn't even give it to a child. Spring rolls were vege but for God's sake! it could have something more in it than ordinary cabbage... for the main course at one table in the restaurant, we waited 30 minutes. What they gave us was not even suitable for horse feed and looked like dog food of the worst quality. I understand that it is something like a lunch and costs very little, but how can anyone in a "restaurant" serve a dish completely tasteless made for an animal with the worst quality ingredients?????! I wouldn't pay a dime for it if I knew what I was getting. I come from Poland, where the cheapest dish of Asian cuisine of this format can be found for ~2€ and still tastes a million times better than this bullshit called chinchilla. Meat overcooked as if they had been cooking it for a week in a pot, so tasty rice .... and raw onion. A dish devoid of any flavor, Chinese soups from supermarket are better. The waiter who served us did not even say a word to us through the entire service. Any Asian who saw these dishes would sooner kill himself than eat this Bulgarian/Indian/Asian dish....

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!we got cold food, the chow mein looked like it was made with dirty slime and we found out by looking at the reviews after eating and it turns out the restaurant puts the same sauce for most of their meals, the chicken curry had a green like color almost looked like doodoo. the spring rolls were just fried cabbage with no spices rolled inside oily filo pastry. ive never seen strawberry ice cream that looked as fake as this one, the most artificial color of ice cream ive ever seen in my life, a hot-neon-pink. waited too long for food that turned out cold and slimy. didnt stay there for long and wont come back. dont waste your money. saw another lady eating something that looked like food waste put together in one pan and served on a plate. im traumatized and scarred by these meals. im afriad if ill get food poisoning, not only did it look nasty, it tasted worse. also the chicken was way overcooked and was pale. everything...

I rarely write reviews, because I am quite easily pleased, but I felt like I need to write one this time. The exterior of the restaurant is very pretty, but as soon as you enter, the servant was impolite, went away with our credit card, we had to make sure they don't keep it - no apologies afterwards! The food (4 dumplings (springroll filling, very thick dough, hair in soy sauce) and chicken with black bean sauce (rarely any sauce, but instead only raw onions)) took 45 min to make - mind you, it wasn't very busy at that time. But I wouldn't even mind that this much, if there weren't all those poor fish swimming around in half filled water basins with literally zero plants inside. The water looked dirty.
