Jester’s Bar is a genuine gem of a place – everything about it: from the warm welcome everyone receives to the tasty snacks on offer to the family atmosphere which is so very palpable when hanging out at this place. We were touched so much by the hospitality of the manager. When talking to her we mentioned that one of us had a sore throat, she promptly brought a small jar of honey with a wedge of lemon and squirted some whiskey in there and offered it all on the house! Jester was directly across the street from the hotel we were staying at, Pebbles. We visited a number of times eating there twice. The owner, Debbi, a Maltese lady, was very curious and polite and very good-natured. We found the Cisk the best draught in the area, and for a snack bar the food was outstanding. On the day of arrival we had the special burger, on the final night we opted for a chicken burger, and a ribeye steak with a cheese sauce, both quality and very generous potions. 2 mains a bottle of pinot gris with a starter, a number of Gins and beers for £75, that's got to be a bargain.
