Mamacita Latino Bar — Restaurant in Saint Paul's Bay

We found Mamacita Latino Bar early in our trip… and ended up going four times in seven nights with no regrets. We ate there twice and had cocktails every visit, and everything was consistently excellent.

The food is hot, fresh, and full of flavour — the beef burrito was my personal favourite, but everything we tried was great. The cocktails are top-notch, especially during their happy hour, with loads of choice and generous pours.

There’s a brilliant Latino vibe, great service, and a DJ playing upbeat Latin tunes, which makes for a fun evening without it feeling too loud or crowded.

The outdoor seating area is also fantastic, with a stunning view over Salina Bay — perfect for enjoying the sunset with a Blue Lagoon in hand.

We had dinner at Mamacita Latino Bar as a family and overall had a great evening. The food was tasty and full of flavor – we really enjoyed the Latin-inspired dishes. The happy hour cocktails were also a nice bonus and very well made! The atmosphere was lively and fun, though the music was a bit too loud, making it hard to talk at times. The service could have been better – there were quite a few staff members around, but the coordination seemed a bit off and we had to wait longer than expected at times. Okay if you're looking for a cocktail bar with a great menu, fabulous setting, awesome music & that encouraged dancing, this is your place.

Temperature dropped a bit at night & the staff quickly offered blankets which really impressed us for the service. We were shown straight to a table on the veranda, looking out over St Paul's Bay at night & had a couple of cocktails each which were delicious & generous on the booze.

We also noticed a fair few locals drinking here which for us shows its a decent place for sure.
