The worst customer service I've experienced in Malta.

My wife and I ordered burgers and tea. She specifically asked for green tea, but later we noticed a "Large Tea" option for €1.50 instead of the usual €1.20. Since it was raining outside, we both decided to upgrade to the larger tea. The waiter assured us it would be bigger. However, when we received our tea, it was served in a standard 150-200ml cup with a cookie—definitely not "large" in my opinion, but we let it slide.

When the bill arrived, we were charged €2.00 each under "Hot Beverages" instead of the €1.50 listed for a Large Tea. When I questioned this, the owner responded that green tea is considered "herbal tea" and, according to her, "on Malta, tea means black tea." She then added that she "doesn’t know how it is in my country, but that’s how it works here." This explanation made no sense—especially since we specifically asked for a large green tea, which wasn’t even listed as an option.

As for the food, it was dry and disappointing. The burger meat was low quality, and the additional cheese looked more like a strange sauce. My wife couldn't even finish hers.

Not...

A really nice place with a wide selection of food, going from the standard fast food items, over some fish, to a few local dishes. One order e pasta carbonara which was god. Two ordered burgers, but one was cold when it arrived. I ordered the cola dish Barcio, and it was really a good dish with potatoes and lots of veggies.

The restaurant it self has a nice outside area. We sat inside, where the acustica is less optimal, but there is nice and clean.

The staff was friendly, but not really service minded, and thats the cause for the low rating. When we mentioned that the burger was cold. But of course they offered to come with a new burger.

But it took them sooo long to bring the burger that everyone else had finished their dinner, so we ended up cancelling the burger, and dropping dessert and coffee.

Still the food and the place...

Please AVOID at all costs!! This has to be the worst place we’ve ever been to. Customer service was at an all time low and the waitresses were extremely rude. Considering the food was so basic it was very badly cooked, and the food which was brought out all came at different times so we never ate together (one of our meals never even made it to the table!!!) Absolute shambles. It explains why it was so quiet there, but you would expect them to get it right when we were the only customers. Lots of lovely nice places nearby we are annoyed for choosing the worst place....
