Mr Wang — Restaurant in Saint Paul's Bay

Don’t waste your time. Went this evening at 2000, Menu outside has around 50 items on it. Went in, there were around 20 items.1 rice,1 noodles thin half cooked chips, & other mains were dried up & looked very unappetising The “starters” were in very short supply, probably 4 items in every tin.that looked like they had been left overs from yesterday. The mains looked very similar & lots of the tins were empty, chef in the kitchen not keeping what was there filled & fresh, 4 tables occupied. No atmosphere whatsoever ever. The price is very very cheap. The customer service and waiters were also very nice and welcoming, always coming to check on our table and make sure we enjoy the food or making what we like especially fresh. The restaurant itself is also very cute and oriental/authentic. Large drink selection and nice selection of starters main and dessert. I was suuuper leary because of the bad reviews, but I found it very good, especially for the price. I had the weekend buffet and the options were all really well done. The chicken was cooked perfect, and nothing had an overly greasy quality. Mr. Wang was super nice, and so was his wife. I think what you have to understand here is you're not going here for €50pp Chinese food. Having said that, it tastes much better than €10 Chinese food, and that's what I paid. I'll be back...
