Murphy's Pub shows no awareness whatsoever for the disturbance caused in the neighbourhood by their rowdy drunken clientèle. I stayed in a nearby hotel and I understand there will be some noise and music coming from a pub, but all the shouting, yelling, vomiting in the street etc night after night was appalling and very disturbing. We left after 10 days but I hate to think what it is like for the locals who have to endure this all year round. Patrons behave as if they own the place, with no regard for their surroundings. I made my way to a seat and was really enjoying the guitar vocalist when I looked at the receipt. €4.50 for a pint which I thought was rather expensive. So I went to the bar and asked the lady behind the bar if they had anything cheaper. I got 'the look' and then the bums rush. The machine broke and would not open to get my phone out. Staff were at first unwilling to prize the door open to get my phone out causing us to stay another hour.
