Murphy`s Irish Pub — Restaurant in Saint Paul's Bay

Murphy's Pub shows no awareness whatsoever for the disturbance caused in the neighbourhood by their rowdy drunken clientèle. I stayed in a nearby hotel and I understand there will be some noise and music coming from a pub, but all the shouting, yelling, vomiting in the street etc night after night was appalling and very disturbing. We left after 10 days but I hate to think what it is like for the locals who have to endure this all year round. Patrons behave as if they own the place, with no regard for their surroundings. I went there last night. A lovely guy served me with a pint of beer. I made my way to a seat and was really enjoying the guitar vocalist when I looked at the receipt. €4.50 for a pint which I thought was rather expensive. So I went to the bar and asked the lady behind the bar if they had anything cheaper. I got 'the look' and then the bums rush. I again politely asked if they served anything cheaper and she ignored me completely and began talking to another customer as if I didn't exist. So I left. I will not...

The worst Irish bar I have ever been to. Atmosphere is dead, went to charge my phone on the locking machine on the wall.

The machine broke and would not open to get my phone out. Staff were at first unwilling to prize the door open to get my phone out causing us to stay another hour. Had to pay for our drinks in the pub despite wanting to move on and not being able to with my phone being locked away. Very poor customer service. Big...
