I am so traumatised by my visit, its taken me a few months to write this.
I had reservations at 12pm and arrived on time and sat at a table as they were all empty. The restaurant had just opened so we didn't mind the 10 min wait to be acknowledged. 5 mins later a person (male) who appeared to be a manager came over to our table and proceeded to yell and scream at my friend and I. it was so Irate and unexpected we couldn't compute what was going on.
when he allowed me to speak I asked if my reservation for 3 people had been cancelled and showed him my reservation he said no, that they were not ready and were expecting a delivery flapped his hands and walked off. It is customary when running a restaurant and are late for a confirmed reservation the approach would be rather apologetic even placatory , not this spot they chose violence and hostility.
I must say even the staff were shocked at our treatment as we had been to the restaurant twice that week. We sat there gobsmacked , we couldn't leave as we were waiting for the 3rd person to arrive. This lady had no idea how to do her job. She messed up the orders and, for example, I ordered 26 pieces of sushi and only received 6. The others, which were wrong, were scattered on the plates of the other diners. Furthermore, according to her logic, it was normal for me to take my food directly from the plates of the other diners.
Honestly, I was very angry, and my son's birthday party was ruined.
Another negative note is about the menu. The pictures next to the names do not correspond to the dishes. This should be specified in the menu or explained by the waiter.
I want to clarify that the quality of the food, as well as the usual service, deserves a 5. However, you should be more careful about who you put to serve at the tables, especially on a rainy day when the restaurant was almost empty. It is unacceptable that such things happen.
In the end, after paying a bill of almost 300 euros for 5 people, I left hungry and angry, and then went to eat a sandwich in a nearby place.
Next time, I will make sure to ask for a waiter who at least speaks fluent English...
