Quattro Fratelli — Restaurant in Saint Paul's Bay

Never had such a bad customer service experience. The waiter seen us as soon as we come in the door and was asking to take photos of us, I declined and he followed us to a table asking for my Instagram or phone number so he can take pics of me and send them to me. I tried to joke at first saying hes too young for me. Our order for drinks was taken but only 1 came, then food order taken but again only mine came.

The waiter was too busy taking pictures of a girl in a swimsuit. I went to get my own sauces from the bar and said I will serve myself. He made sarcastic immature noises at me. I sat down he came after me i asked where the food was and he blamed the other staff and went to tell them off! It wasnt their fault.

He started having an argument with me and saying I am ungrateful as he is so busy (the place was empty) I said when hes finished taking pictures of girls he can start to do his job.

He kept trying to give us free drinks then on the bill tried to charge us for several items we never had plus the ones we asked for...

Tonight ( 2nd August 2017) We came in at 8pm view was beautiful. Sat outside. Service was okay but all seemed a bit manic. It look over 45mins to receive anything then the lady but the wrong food over. Then she told my partner might not be ours to eat. At this point I was so angry but kept my cool. Then finally the food arrived aswell did the nachos and I said this was supposed to be a starter and the waiter replied saying we didn't say. Which was horrendous. They apologised and said we have been busy - the restaurant wasn't even half full. The to make up to us they offered us a free drink which was insulting. Any any point of the evening would have been nice to have seen the manager. Instead he was too busy seeing to a party. The poor staff were working Really hard and he didn't come over. The service is horrible! Slow and with a bad attitude.

We booked a table for 3 inside, when we arrived we noticed that outside there were quite a few tables available so we asked if we could sit outside. 'No, you booked inside'. The waiter made us feel like we really weren't welcome.

We ordered and the starter took almost 45mins to come out, and all it was was a few pieces of bruschetta.

After another hour our main courses came out. One of the dishes was wrong and we informed the waiter. Without any apology or regret he took the plate and miraculously a few minutes later the right dish came out.

In the meantime, no one ever came to check if we needed anything else. We had to signal to a waiter if we needed something. Head waiter was shouting across the restaurant at the other waiters or at the chef in the kitchen.
