Sapori Cafe — Restaurant in Saint Paul's Bay

Wow 🤩 what a gem this place is! Staying in St Paul’s Bay with my sister, who has extreme food intolerances, including Gluten and Lactose. This wonderful little place is opposite the bus terminal and we found it our 2nd night walking back from the bus. They cater to all food types, vegan, vegetarian and intolerances. Nearly every item on the menu has a GF, LF, or V option as well, including all the pizzas, pasta dishes, burgers and risotto’s. The food itself is so good! I am lucky enough to not have any special food needs but I also tried my sister’s dishes and they taste every bit as good. The portions are so generous, pizzas are amazing, also the best tasting freshly made smoothies, it’s all just so good that we will eat here now until we leave - no need to go elsewhere as the menu vast and varied - and the best bit - the staff, family run we think - are so kind and friendly, and know the importance of the food intolerance cross contamination issues. I recently visited this restaurant and had an incredible experience! As someone who follows a vegan diet, I was thrilled to find a variety of vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese, and it was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the vegan cheese melted just like the real thing!

The service was friendly and attentive, even though we had to wait a bit longer for our food on a particularly day. The staff was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable while we waited.

The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were fair for the quality and quantity of food we received. It’s rare to find a place that caters so well to both vegan and gluten-free diets without compromising on taste or value.

Amazing place gf food fantastic! Shared a meal with my husband for the first time in 10 years of being celiac. A 10 day visit and we ate each night. Claire was great at explaining what I could have and answered every question I asked. We had pizza, soups, chicken pie, bruschetta and all delicious 😋 We will be back in September and we will be trying more on the menu. My husband ate with me and said he couldn't tell the difference. This is how good it is.!! The cafe is warm and welcoming the staff all lovely and very helpful.
