Very nice place with a incredible decor and ambience to taste typical Maltese plates with a modern English influence. The presentation of the plates was really well done with a fair quantity of greens, where in general vegetables are not always getting attention. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommandations. The prices were good, fair compared with less "authentic" noisy touristic places on the boulevard where they overprice food the double with less quality. Ps. Ignore the French recent review, it doesn't justify the charms of this nice little place. The outdoor decorations were an eyecatcher, especially the plants. It seems that recently some sour French tourists flood the town and left in many places salty reviews when not even informing themselves what to expect. Hence, go try to taste yourself these Maltese plates!

Cosy restaurant, great food, professional service and good atmosphere. A good place to have quiet sit-down dinners and enjoy some nice food if you are staying near St. Paul's Bay. The set menu was very good value - three courses for around €21 - and the portions were very generous. For the starter, the Maltese sausage pasta was very good. It had a rich flavor and was quite filling. (Tip: get the Maltese sausage pasta!) For the main course, unfortunately the "fish steak" was not fresh fish like seabass. It was tuna steak. The portions were good but the tuna had a slight fishy taste, so I would not recommend getting the fish option on the set menu. You also get a dessert. It was so filling that we had our dessert to go. Overall, it was good value and quality. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went with so much positivity because of all the positive reviews. We went in and were greeted lovely. We ordered fish soup and calamari for starters and the Rabbit and pork belly for mains. The soup was strange with rice in it still stuck together 2 pieces of fish in it and lots of fish bones. We didn't get the deep-fried squid as we expected, we got stuffed squid, which was lukewarm and odd and was apperantly the special which we got told about at the beginning... but we'd already ate half of it before realising and we didn't want to say anything, as the staff were lovely and we didn't want to make a fuss. The pork belly was a massive piece not very tasty and pink inside, and came with some veg which stunk of gas so we couldn't eat them. The rabbit wasn't anything special, it was a rabbit covered in curry sauce, I think they ruined it. Anyway, we had water and a glass of wine. We paid 60€ and did not eat barely any of it, the staff didn't seem bothered that the plates were still full, just took it away and took the payment. Now we have just got back from the restaurant about 2hrs later and my partner is getting excruciating stomach pains, which she believes is from the squid as she hasn't eaten anything else all day and it definitely wouldn't be the pork belly as the symptoms don't match compared to shellfish, she can't get off the loo and has pretty bad diarrhoea... we certainly wouldn't recommend unfortunately.

Reserved an outside table for 21:00, showed up at 20:55, was seated inside since the table wasn't free. Placed order from inside table at 21:15, including order for wine based on servers suggestion for a sweet wine that is not dry. Were finally moved outside at 21:30, 30 minutes after our reservation time. The wine was very dry and semi sweet, exactly what I was trying to avoid. Was not given an opportunity to taste the wine before accepting it. Could not even drink more than a few sips of it. The food finally showed up an hour later at 22:15 and was overly salted and did not taste good at all. The risottos funghi porcini claimed to have sliced mushroom and truffle sauce, but was completely missing the truffle. Also, they offered a bowl of Parmesan to add it on the food and left it at the table. It did not even have a cover and there is no way it is being thrown out after each table. They claim to be covid compliant, but almost none of the customers were wearing masks while walking to their tables and the waiter never wore a mask the entire time. There is no covid compliance here! Also saw the bartenders without masks very often. We also weren't really checked on the entire time as the server was busy drinking with the loud old ladies at the table next to us. Absolutely do not recommend this place.

It was our engagement night. We wanted to try some local food, nothing fancy needed. It started good: We got our table and ordered the local set menu. Until our starter was served we were asked to order by 4 different waiters - they did not seem to have any overview over the orders and tables.. the food itself was quite nice, also for the main dish. But this is where the fun stops. After the main, we waited for around 40 minutes to get our dessert.. our drinks were empty as well. No-one checked on us even once! And after attempting to contact the waiters several times we gave up on waiting for the dessert and asked to get our bill. The waiter never returned with the bill so we went to the bar to pay. After pointing out that we never got any dessert, we got our 2 drinks for free, but that does not make it up for such a disaster of a night. Sorry guys, but you need to step up your service if you want to keep your customers. Do NOT recommend.

This restaurant was a great pleasure for us! Staff was excellent, they brought us bruschetta for free while we were waiting for food and homemade drink of melon, green curacao and white rum. They were very helpful and friendly. Prices are accurate, lower than in the very centre of Bugibba. This place is really romantic, slow italian music also fits the style, I recommend it for a date and for family dinner as well. The food is traditional maltese - we ordered rabbit and penne alla norma. We got half of the rabbit in one portion :D the portion of pasta I got was enough for 2 :D I recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Malta :)
