This was my second time dining at this restaurant, and I must say I loved it. I will definitely be coming back. The seafood linguine, which I’ve had on both occasions, stands out. The flavour of the pasta is perfectly blended with the seafood, which is just spot on. The fish carpaccio is also excellent, and if you ask, they can prepare it with a mix of octopus, salmon, and other fish without any problem. The service is excellent throughout. During our first visit, we also tried the octopus, and although it was quite good, I would have preferred if it were prepared in the style we do in Spain, grilled with oil, so I leave that as a suggestion. My companion had the ravioli and commented that, while tasty, they were expecting a bit more flavour compared to my linguine. The service may be a bit slower than expected, but I believe that’s a sign everything is freshly prepared, which is reflected in the quality of the dishes. Plus, if you’re enjoying a conversation, the wait isn’t an issue, as they serve some bread as an appetiser. The crème brûlée for dessert was delightful. Overall, everything was great, and as I’ve mentioned, we returned again, and I will certainly be back.

The service at Venus is top-notch, exuding class and professionalism. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to ensure you have an unforgettable dining experience. Having dined here every day during our stay, we had the opportunity to try every item on the menu, and we were never disappointed. The seafood, in particular, stands out – it’s simply the best we’ve ever had. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented beautifully, making each meal a delightful experience. Pricing at Venus is fair, striking a perfect balance between quality and cost. While it isn’t the cheapest option, it certainly isn’t overly expensive either. Additionally, their wine list is impressive, offering a wide selection of affordable yet high-quality wines to complement your meal. Overall, Venus Restaurant is a must-visit if you find yourself in Malta. With its cozy atmosphere, exceptional service, outstanding food, and fair pricing, it easily earns a 5 out of 5 from me. I can’t recommend it enough!

The restaurant was very busy when we went. We didn’t book a table but the waiter said if we come back in 20 minutes then they can get a table for us. At first the service was very slow and they didn’t prepare the table for us. Later once they noticed that we were waiting and getting a bit frustrated. They finally told us to sit on the table and the servers were nice. Before the meal they bring warm bread with Hummus and olives. This was good. The meals we got was the Beef Wellington and the seafood Linguine. The Beef Wellington was great. The meat was juicy and tender on the inside and the sauce that came with it was phenomenal. The second platter was the seafood Linguine and it was also delicious. The seafood was fresh and the sauce was really amazing too. The staff and the owner greeted us and also asked if everything was good a couple of times. I definitely recommend this place but book in advance. I also recommend coming earlier so that they don’t run out of lobster like they did when I went. Enjoy.

It's a really wonderful atmosphere. The food and the service were really good. The staff is really nice and takes good care of you. You get a nice start with fresh warm bread with homemade tomato pasta and pesto. I was a lot to choose from, so for starters, I had the Buffalo Mozzarella Di Buffalo with Beetroot, Homemade Pesto, Rustic Bread. And the Beef Carpaccio with Beetroot Puree, Fried Parsnips, Parmesan Shavings, Herb & Lemon Infused Oil. Really tasty both of them with nice flavours. As the main course I had the Beef Angus Tenderloinm, it was a bit of a disappointment, though. Was a bit cold and too much fat on it. I was expecting to get a new one. But they just warmed it up in the oven. Still OK. But sideorders, the potatoes, and vegetables were really nice and had good texture. Really good drinks and other beverages. But in the whole this is really a nice place to come to eat. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but it's still worth it.

I travel to Malta every year, and when I do I have to visit Venus restaurant at least once, I’ve been going to this place for longer than I can remember! The service, food and ambiance is always 5* plus from this family run restaurant. They always have amazing specials on with lots of fresh fish in addition the amazing menu, and from the minute you walk in you the warmest friendly welcome from the Curmi family! The restaurant is also styled with tasteful decor, perfect lighting and complimented by lovely background music at just the right level. I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants in Malta over my lifetime and I can’t help always going back Venus. It’s definitely my favorite and one of the best, if not, THE best on the island in my opinion!

First time visiting this restaurant, I would rate it a 4.5/5. Starting with the ambience of the restaurant, the truth is that I didn't love it, the tables were too close together for my taste and this made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The service I would give a 10/10, the waiters were very friendly and attentive. Then moving on to the food, the truth is that it was very good, we ordered the mussels, the fish carpaccio and the octopus, and it was all good, then we followed it with the linguini seafood and the crab tortellacci and they were delicious, I think they were my favourite dishes. We finished with a vanilla creme brûlée which was delicious. Overall the experience was very good.
